@saffire We're kind of waiting to make a few other changes all at once to the app so it might be a little while but we'll definitely get to it (along with allowing purchases of coins etc IN the app).

Amazon just stopped allowing you to purchase within the Kindle app because they didn't want to give the app stores their cut.

I think JNC are in a pretty different situation to Amazon though. The app stores cut likely aren't much different to what Kobo, Bookwalker and Amazon themselves are taking for selling the books 3rd party. If they can bring more people over to buying direct by offering that additional payment method, that balances out.

@bfennema Nothing announced, someone asked in the discord on Friday though

myskaros: We're working on it, but we aren't able to start streaming it yet.
eMPTy: Unfortunately, the only answer we can give is when everything's in place for it to happen

@jpwong
Thanks! Yes, my app is indeed new version, updated Dec 5.

Holy moly that's a lotta new content. Grats JNC!

Would limiting opening new chats to subscribing members solve the spam bot issue?

Sam explained some of the hints on discord. Here's more explanations from him, as well as guesses worked out by other people:

including not saying that negotiations failed, if they failed.

I highly doubt negotiations would ever fail. It might be tricky and hard but would not fail. Especially since JNC already licensed the first few books.

My basis for this is the fact that Sol Press was able to grab some good titles even though the company was failing and did not have a good track record. They were even able to release more than just 1 volume of a series.

It's doubtful they would fail in negotiations for additional volumes, but that doesn't mean it's impossible.
Thus, I include that since they don't report failed negotiations.
If we never hear of an additional volume in a series even though it had been released umpteen bazillion years ago in Japan, negotiations failed.
So far that hasn't happened.

But if the chappie is so out of the loop to ask when the next volume will be ready days after it is released in Japan, one is comprehensive in covering all the reasons they might not hear anything concerning a release date for some time, if ever.

Interesting stuff. And giving I have an affection for pulp style fiction anyway I'll probably check out the pulp line - John Sinclair and Jessica Bannister look like they may be fun.

Yes! Tearmoon Empire is getting a physical copy! 😀

@myskaros
Thanks for the update. It is much appreciated.

@HarmlessDave Indeed Brother Dave, two shall be the number of weeks allowed to be skipped and the number weeks allowed to be skipped shall be two.

Or less. Less is good... YOU MALODOROUS PERVERT

(Old joke response reference)

@sam-pinansky That is disappointing :( At least my credit limit I guess gets to be happy.

gosh, if I didn't need a reason to buy premiums from J-Novel site before now...
I know not all 'missing' titles are JNC's but, I just don't see a compelling reason to buy from bezos when there is an alternative that is both cheaper and better. now we just need a wiki /article /FAQ on how to use calibre and sideload JNC premiums to Kindle hardware (or Ipad) for those folks that aren't already doing that...

Since everything else has gone up I wonder how long it will be before The Bloodline is uploaded to the site.

@Jason-Maranto I agree, the art-style doesn't seem to match the cover illustration, and personally I don't care for it.
