@Kaelas Kobo is definitely updated on my end (I pushed the update the same time as the other sites and just double checked by downloading it from Kobo on their backend), so contact Kobo customer support to get them to push the updated version to you.

Actually I've arranged the numbers where the premium credits or amazon sales both give about the same amount of royalties back to the Japanese publisher per book.
Some of our translators can elect to get a share of those proceeds as part of their pay, too, and in that case the premium credits contribute more to the translator/editor.

Kobo and iBooks actually would be the place that takes the smallest % of the retail price for distribution (amazon charges a fee per MB of the downloaded file).

But it's really about which ecosystem/file format you can most easily read the book in. If you own a kindle and just want your book on your kindle, Amazon is probably the way to go. If you only read on a computer or generic epub reader, them our Premium Ebooks will be the best quality (plus bonus content).

Hello Sam, I saw in Sean's posts that there was going to be an update to volume 1 to change some character names, may I inquire when will that update be sent out? It's just that Kobo needs customers to contact their customer to manually update books to latest versions, it's not automatic like Amazon. So, I'd rather not bother their reps before knowing for sure that there is an update to be made. Thank you very much!

@Manisha-Dhiman When you click "Join" or 'become a member' or whatever the wording is, and select a membership plan, then there's a easy to see line to enter the coupon code at the same place you enter you'll enter your credit card info.

@hatguy12 Personally, I would like it if people spoiler tagged anything going on in the current prepublication volume after unspoilering a warning like "Volume 1 Part 1" "Volume 2 Part 7". If you can't remember what exact part it occurred, just say "early in this volume" "in the final few parts of the volume".

There was already an untagged spoiler about one of the later volumes of Isekai Smartphone that got me this week I think in the announce thread (something from volume 5, 6, or 7's cover or something? I remember the spoiler, but I'm being vague). I'm annoying about spoilers, sorry. T.T
