@Dynamies Since Amazon doesn't have a kindle store in Singapore, I don't think they sell kindle editions to that country. I'd suggest buying from Kobo or maybe Bookwalker, as their stores are truly worldwide (or use a premium credit and download directly from us!)

Right now Amazon only sells its kindle books in the countries it has stores in, although I'm sure there's some way to proxy or something and get them to sell it to you.

@whoisfriend Yes, buying credits for books here is slightly discount for premium members. I believe it was a 1 USD discount.

@firefsp Debit cards might work, but it depends on your bank and their rules for the debit cards.

If the error is "your card is declined" try contacting your bank and see if you can't enable the charge.

@Rahul-Balaggan Monthly is more money for us since it's 4.95 instead of 4.50 a month for yearly (similarly for Premium). But here in the startup period we need cash to keep afloat so those 12 month up front payments really help, too.

@DTTA Right now the web view's size is fixed once it goes beyond a certain size. When I make a new version of the web viewer I think I might make it resizable up to double the resolution it current does.

@Rahul-Balaggan As you can probably imagine the overhead of having many small investors can get overwhelming quickly.
At some point you're better doing like a kickstarter type thing, but for me I've always held the philosophy that if it takes 3-4 years of losses to make a business profitable than you are probably not doing it right in the first place.... The whole silicon valley "growth at any cost", "spend the VC while it lasts" mindset is kind of anathema to me. I want to spend funds I have on content, then spend the proceeds on that content on more content, and reach a sustainable output and input level, with as little waste and fixed costs as possible. Does it limit our short term growth potential? Perhaps, but I'd rather keep 100% ownership and grow slowly than mortgage away the business to gain a quick 1000 subs from $100,000 worth of advertising or something.

@Ztshp I've disabled downvoting and also disabled any "minimum reputation" requirements on the forum software, so right now all it does is give people a way to "thumbs up" other people's posts.
