I'd say I'm "learning to tl" more from a business perspective at the moment. Just so happens that makes it a lot easier to TL from a hobby perspective as well.

That said, I'm a fairly decent editor so that'll probably turn into my main forum activity in response to books currently in translation for official publication. I'm anal retentive enough that I spot grammatical and contextual errors consistently if nothing else. I'm buying a few different series and reading them from scratch first since Kindle books lack the extra short stories and such.

And translating light novels from a beach on Okinawa, a temple in Kyoto, or a hot spring in Hokkaido could be a future job. Harder to do in Tokyo because it's too much fun to people watch. ;)

Oh I know, sometimes they or actually they should be getting the clean images. usually the text etx everything was a separate layer. That's how its usually like in the industry. I've worked a little in something related before. That's why I was asking if that original could be provided in some form or whether there would be contractual issues doing so.

@jampodevral Like I said, opinions vary. Some people are fine using both ?! and !?, like with the former being more of a question and the later being more shock and confusion.
So I wouldn't call a book that uses both "poorly edited".

Generally I'd just like some consistency in their usage is all within a particular series.

Isekai is a setup. In many series, there is nothing isekai about it after the first few chapters. In a series like New Life +, it would only be a trivial difference if you called it "Amnesiac blessed by God" instead of an isekai.

As such, I don't believe it's possible to get tired of isekai... I think people who say they are tired of isekai are actually tired of the type of story that is most common among isekai: fantasy worlds with RPG elements. There are lots of series that are fantasy worlds with RPG elements (even with floating menus!) that aren't isekais, though.

Yea right now the features and functions in an account is really limited. Its fine when your collection here is small still but I am expecting my ebook collection to explode over the year soon and i predict its going to be messy...

Currently I just download the epub and sort them manually on my devices but it would be great to be able to have some organizing in my Library under my account here as well soon.

Another feature that would save lots of time once there is more series would be allowing us members to bookmark followed series into our account and just hop to them direct simply via the account itself. For now I just bookmark em on my browser but yea I'd have preferred built-in to the account here.

I kept advertising J Novel on the mangas that have their LN translated and ran across spookie which lead to him learning about the premium bonus.
Hopefully he decides to continue the series he loves since the bonuses aren't required to enjoy the stories to the fullest.
I spend hundreds on auctions every other month trying to get limited edition things in Japan and it's a pain but what can you do when you love your hobby so much?
