@Xlishado I miss this feature too. I can't always finish a part in one go. It's frustrating trying to find where I left off. I hope they can fix this.

Good news! It was just announced that Gushing over Magical Girls is getting a print release!

A securely shrink-wrapped physical release.

@ravenchilde You probably meant to post in the subforum for this one, https://forums.j-novel.club/category/13/licensing-suggestions

You might want to take a look at other posts there for formatting ideas

(also House is already Sherlock Holmes [seriously, Wilson = Watson], so it's just anime House)

@Ingraman said in an error on Manga that probably needs fixing:

“Cottoned” is perfectly valid, although it’s British English (which sometimes is turfed out in favor of American English).

It shows up in some regional dialects in American English, too. In the American South (or parts of it), for example.

@Neptunia_101

Hi,

The quickest solution would be to download the full ebook from your library and read it on your stock reading app. Like iBooks or Google Play Books.

2nd quickest is to read on the app, not on a browser.

Since you purchased the book it is yours to read on any device you own. Assuming the release date for that book has passed.

Beyond that, without specifics we can not help troubleshoot.

Emailing support@j-novel.club for further troubleshooting with reading on the website.

Thank you

@chaduos said in Bookworm Manga:

J-Novel Club should put some sort of divider between P3V4 and P4V1 of the Bookworm Manga, otherwise P4V1 looks like its the next volume and could lead to manga readers being spoiled. Perhaps the divider informs readers that P3 manga hasn't ended, its simply not translated yet?

https://j-novel.club/series/ascendance-of-a-bookworm-manga#volume-20

hehe, Nah. Leave "Only Manga" readers get spoiled, so they can pass to the original source light novel!! ( ^ __ ^ )

Nah! Just kidding! hehe

I agree, and even more, I think It should have been done between Parts 2 and 3.

@Tiilka

There has been some discussion of the cat puns in the series pre-pub corrections thread.

You are not the only one who would like some adjustments to be made to the translation.

I wonder whether the third party PWA reader discussed at https://forums.j-novel.club/topic/8812/an-e-reader-optimized-pwa-for-j-novel-club works on Kobo.

@pcj Unfortunately this does not show entries in the future, which is what would be of use here.
Thanks for the suggestion though.

@christantoan Thanks for reporting this. We've released an update for the servers that will fix browser and mobile clients to list ebook releases for volumes of series you are following when there are no parts released in the calendar for the same series.

Hello,

This issue should now be fixed. Please refresh and try again.

If it persists, please let us know.

Thank you

J-Novel Knight has been announced as the name for the BL imprint. Which means spade is back up for potential usage for a rescue label. :-P

@pcj said in Suggestion: Built-in reporting of errors on pre-pub part's reader/viewer.:

you're not reading the forum first before posting, you'd post the correction anyway even if it was already there.

I already don't do that. De-duplication is not my problem. I just begin every corrections post with the magic phrase, "Not sure if this has been mentioned already, but..."

@Shiny said in Downloaded versions Different?:

Also the pre-pubs do not contain the colour illustrations (if there are any), and sometimes the premium epub includes bonus short stories at the end (such content is mentioned on the purchase information and premium content thread).

You really want to doublecheck the Premium Content Thread because the info on the individual purchase pages is often...incomplete..., at least for the earlier works from J-Novel.

Discovering that was what lead to my repurchasing a number of volumes I'd purchased elsewhere prior to really checking out JNC's website and discovering the DRM-free status &c.
