Nah nah, just skip ahead to the chapter entitled "Yaichi's Gratitude", you don't even need any context from the first scene, she doesn't even appear in the chapter. It's deranged for a completely different reason. I cannot accept you dropping the series without first experiencing the pain of its one-two punch opener. :P

Have been looking for a light novel translation, and it would be great if J-Novel would translate it.

@Ryan-Monahan None of the second contest books have come onto the prepub schedule yet. This is longer than they took on the first contest's winners, but since it's all of them, I wouldn't be too concerned something specific is going on with any individual story.

@Serah I love it very much, it's one of my favorite series, but the Novel has no official English translation

I would love to see J-Novel Club licensing this, but I‘m not sure if they even can, because of Square Enix‘s English imprint…
