I suppose it would have been cheaper if they had gone meta and used Bookworm's own music. 8-)

They did do a decent job of having the earlier kids playing a simpler version of the song. Not sure if that's how they did it but the earlier kids sounded like they were plucking single notes while Myne was doing arpeggiated chords (plus singing. Actually, Myne sounded like she got extra background instruments for a fuller sound). Sadly, Myne was not depicted as "in the moment" when the blessing came out. She was just business as usual and then surprised.

@Everbright Just letting you know that if you don't read any other J-novel series with you subscription, you can cancel your subscription and just preorder SSC3 when the prepub starts. This also gives you access to the prepubs.

@doceirias yeah I know, the story makes heavy use of that pun in both meanings, and I use the title used on mangadex.

If you think it's already polished enough to release to the general public as a paid novel, you do have the option of self-publishing through the Amazon kindle store.

For that you'd probably want to have had a professional editor go through and point out any problems with it.

For sharing a web novel for free, the suggestions above make sense.

Viz’s website says that they published volume 1 in June 2010 and v15 in April 2016. I bought them as they were coming out.

and the source material light novels have never been translated! it would be really cool and it’s not too big of a commitment (only 4 books? although there’s a spinoff). really socially relevant rn too.

I’d love to see it, but I’m not optimistic for the LNs. We’ll see. :)
