This. I have attempted to request LNs through my library before. Sometimes they can get the volume in if they don't already have a copy.

Kodansha has licensed the old manga and will begin reprinting it next year. This is a good time for somebody to think about translating Daichi-hen.

J-Novel Club is a company that doesn't sell anything I'm interested in reading. I only have an account here because I bought a few volumes once upon a time. I do put my money where my mouth is.

@Korppi The MediaPad M5 should be a solid choice for manga and light novels. For local manga libraries, I'd recommend looking at an Alternative Tachiyomi app like Mihon, since it has a clean interface and handles local collections really well. Moon+ Reader is still one of the best options for light novels, so using both apps together gives you a great reading setup.
