hm this is true. Kinda like the battle junkie type, except a leader instead of a soldier or mercenary. I don't think it's something I've seen, but it certainly should be able to exist.

Yup... and the only adventurer to really treat those monsters like small fry is Noor.

Noor really does live in an ocean of big fish. He never just encounters monsters; he always seems to encounter the monstrous monsters. His "normal" is always going to be plain abnormal.

His perceptions do seem skewed.
C'mon, the whole "with each step my bones fracture and muscles tear, but [Low Heal] handles it" bit?

There's been a severe lack of communications based upon his only having skills whose base forms are considered trash, and hardly anyone has knowledge that there is anything beyond the base form, and those who do...Noor is clearly far too young to have developed them to that level, why, he'd have had to spend ten years doing nothing else for that to be possible, maybe.

"So, Noor, what did you spend the last ten years doing?" has only been asked by those without the knowledge to suspect the results.

Another fun part. I'm thinking Baris knows what's really on Heale's mind and just used the crest conversation to help him save face.

It's nice to get to watch Erivan step up in combat since it's his specialty, and it helps keep it from being entirely Heale and only Heale.

For a while, I wondered why the bystander characters in this series tend to get so excited whenever they see one of the main characters has a "wardrobe malfunction". I mean, I could understand if some of them did, but it seems like all of them do. But, then I realized: every single person in this world is female. Males aren't involved in their reproductive process at all. That explains everything.

I'm beginning to remember why I stopped reading the LN.

You've got a spreading faith that says the Light of Origin is Eville!, the followers of whom all wear jewellery made using an unknown mineral, pillars of said mineral are being erected all around, and visitors from the Empire are becoming ill due to interference with their mana.

And not one of those associated with the Empire, nor Our Heroine who is a reincarnate of an Imperial, consider that any of this might tie together.

If you are seeking an enemy capable of unified action throughout your vassal states, maybe, just maybe, a faith that has spread throughout said states which is openly hostile to you might be something to investigate!!!
Especially if they encourage the spread of a mineral unknown to you, and you know that minerals can interact with the mana from the Light of Origin.
When you are already investigating Star Metal due to it being unknown.

OK, so investigating Star Metal has to do with it being something associated with the babe you're enamored of, rather than a sign of basic intelligence in the face of enemy action...

This is why I stopped reading the LN.
They are too stupid to rule.
Seriously.
They started this tour of the vassal states as an undercover investigation yet cannot see what's right under their noses.
It makes the arrogance of their enemy maneuvering in plain sight justified.
