Really glad this is back. It makes a great after-Christmas present.

"Raw" sushi is really "defrosted" sushi. It's been treated to kill parasites too, but just by freezing, instead of cooking. All the sushi he's buying through his online market is previously frozen.
So maybe get the hungry horde to cast some ice magic on their catch?

I think the hungry hoard's stomach juices are strong enough to destroy (dissolve) any and all parasites. After all, they are not normal everyday beasts.

@Hylebos Trust me, you’re not the first person to make that mistake. I know because I once did the same

As I said two weeks ago: Fortunately, Noor's a farmer.

And boy if this army isn't looking ripe for the harvest.

It looks like the Director has won over another former enemy.

@Libri-Liberorum It's intentional. From the prologue of the first novel:

The dukes had achieved great things back when the kingdom was founded. Because of their history and because the first generation of each ducal house is connected to the royal family by marriage, we address them differently than other countries would. Take Duke Howard, for instance—the head of the Howard family that guards the lands north of the capital. He would customarily be called “His Grace” elsewhere, but we address him as “His Highness.” His sons and daughters are styled “Highness” as well.
The original plan had supposedly been to enfeoff the dukes as royal dukes, but they had objected that this was “irreverent.” The royal family refused to back down, however, so the ducal houses eventually kept “Highness” as a compromise. I’d heard the dukes were secretly still included in the royal line of succession, but who knew whether that was really true. It was all so confusing.

@Ingraman Manga v10 released in July, so shouldn't be too long before it starts up.

The LN is pretty good, if you're enjoying the manga I would recommend it. This is v5 content and prepubs just started for v12, so plenty more to read there.

Following up on this, the manga does a lovely job adapting the LN, and the LN is wondrous source material.
More words, fewer pictures, same humor.

A bit of a slower volume, introducing the academy and teasing future conflicts, but not quite getting to any of them. Still cute, especially where Pochi is concerned.

In case you didn't know, if you care about someone, you should leave them while they struggle, disappear in a war-torn country, read their letters but never write back, be secretly in contact with your family and theirs but forbid anybody from even telling them you're alive, then swoop in eight or so years later, long after they've solved all their issues on their own, to declare your love and kiss them without permission.

Or at least that's what this series would have you believe.

I'm not quite hate-reading it, but the twists and turns are just so bizarre and the characters so unbelievable it's hard to put down. A car-wreck in a manga form, if you will.

I love how he's worried about the budget despite having brought an entire extra elf to the park. Kazuhiro, your budget was dead on arrival.

I know you don't like the question "When will the next volume be translated?", so I say it in an other way that'll make you happy (I hope xD ) : I'm a huge fan of this series and you can count me in to read both manga and Light Novel.

Hmm. Seems Nacht is very angry at the army.

I think she's about to thoroughly destroy the army before they even reach Estoll.

@Zerio I actually haven’t read the LN - that’s why I said “I guess”

@kuali
So I just found the Japanese version, and it was written as ゼット, so I guess Zed

@endoftheline said in Stuck in a Time Loop (Manga) Vol 2 Discussion:

So she wants someone who won't die when they are killed. Did I get that correct?

Yes, I believe that's so, especially when she's doing the killing herself. (In other words, someone durable)

Suimei: What the hell are the odds.
Han Solo: Never tell me the odds.

@Ingraman Doubly strange that that topic seems to be invisible to me, except with a direct link. Searching for it did not find it.

Maybe now that I've tagged it, the system will let me see it? I'll find out... Thanks!
