@terabyte Yes, the author streamlined the fall of the Suun family (e.g. no mention to the sleeping gas that justifies the lack of people around at the beginning) while keeping the main plot points so that no further changes to the story are expected imho.
Still the clarity of the sequence of the events did suffer a more than bit...
That's it, the manga ends with volume 3, chapter 5.
Aww.... I was rather enjoying it. Though, given what's coming up, I can also understand why that likely wouldn't have worked well as manga. Prose is certainly better suited for dealing with things in a fashion that doesn't feel rushed.

As for the earl, he is indeed right. She needs more exposure to the world but that is half because of the people around her who are overprotective and half her own obsession towards books. Even if she gained insights through them, they mustn’t blind her. Pretty ironic.
