Unfortunately there's no notification for now, but you can subscribe to the RSS Feed of the series you follow. That's what I've been doing so far at least. Chapter 4 came out back on 19 April btw, and the calendar does list it too for that day.

It was a fun re-read, and the extra story from Hyougetsu was very sweet.

anyway this is one of the most flawless series I've ever read. As in, even in my favorites, there will usually be some annoying trope that pops up now and then or some character that rubs me the wrong way, etc. But this has got almost none of that. Every character is good (excluding the bad guys), and it's overall super solid. Special mention to jiggle physics girl, where instead of being a point of annoyance it's mostly used to contrast with her chuuni disease to make it more amusing.

It's odd that I didn't notice this during pre-pub, but...

This volume’s cover was one that has always stuck out to me, because it was in the “recent digital releases” area of the JNC site for some time after I first got my membership. I always thought it looked really cool and I wanted to check out the series. Now that it’s on catchup, I finally could! (And it’s even currently in the “recent physical releases” area, which I find fitting.)

I can confirm V9 is my favorite cover of the series, but the content decidedly less so :c

Oh, this is quite a bit different to the Manga. Am sad that we did not get to see Mukodah feed Erland though to demonstrate why he wouldn't have a hope to form a familial contract with a dragon.
The dragon obsession, however, is perfectly illustrated.

On heights, in the LN, Astrid comments that Iris is "short" at 130cm, vs. her 190cm father. Guessing the manga is going full-on chibi for the main characters.
