I'm having a similar issue as this one. Webpage got stuck in a cycle of loading on my ipad, checked through my phone and it was doing the same thing. Later in the day I could finally load the part I was reading but now none of the pages track my progress so it looks like they're unread. Tested it just now with a random recent series on my PC and still no tracking. I didn't use the app but just the web-browsers to access JNC (Safari & Firefox).

No users were blocked in the making of this example.

There were numerous reports of people having issues late yesterday. Staff acknowledged there must be and issue and said they restarted a DB server and hoped that fixed everyone's problem, but were forthright stating that full on troubleshooting for a non-reproducable (by staff) problem would be Monday.

@piisfun yeah I figured that out while trying my Magic trick... Getting all confused about why those would be separate 😅
But yeah, probably cache somehow... Though I don't get it cause I had to log in from the start and reset my code word plus I also ordered the preview while trying to fix it...

@SomeOldGuy There is also a possibility they are still logged into the forums, but not the main site. The main site and forums have separate login sessions and time out on a different interval, so they may just need to log in again.

Seems to be my Internet provider as when I have left home it starts working again, I will have to see if there is a whitelist somewhere in the settings

@GeorgeMTO That's something you can actually turn on or off in your profile even if you're subbed.

Anyway, they might also want to make sure they're actually logged in since it does log you out of the main site every other week even though the forums persist the login for a lot longer.

Next time, you can navigate to the series page to access it instead, or use the app. The calendar link is just a link, the part itself is available.

The calendar link should be fixed now.

Calibre is definitely not a good choice to read Manga with.

Personally, I use OpenComic on my Macbook. I like it because I can set each series to scroll left to right, right to left, or verticle (webtoon mode).

It was reported in discord, the calendar date was incorrect and one of the staff corrected it.

Login to Wordpress with the same email you're using for J-novel club.
Go to your Profile on Wordpress (bottom-left of page).
From there, you can change your Gravatar profile pic, or hide it if you choose.

As other said, use the calendar view for streaming stuff. That is the only place to see what you are following.

Personally, I use @Crimson-Wise's reader for reading the novels I follow. It cannot display Manga, but I still known when something is out in that interface. J-Novel tracks all the info, but have never updated their own website. The apps on iphone/android make use of the functions, but not the website.
