@myskaros Thanks, it works. I had to do it twice before it stuck but maybe I missed an error message the first time or something. I can log into both the main JNC and the forum with different passwords now.

I'd forgotten that that was even a thing since I've only ever very rarely received any and the last one was maybe six months after I'd registered on the site.
go to the reader settings, change it to a different quality level, exit back to the menu, and open it again.
Where is this setting? All I get is theme and whether animations are enabled or disabled.

At the App, on the "Manga series" In question, press the "Gear icon" on the top rigth corner, in the menu it open, just over (More settings) is a choice saying: [ IMAGE QUALITY ] with a submenu ( AUTO, HIGH, MEDIUM, LOWER ),
CHOOSE, LOWER.
Ah, so not on web then. I wonder why that's an app thing only?
@Skeith45-zonibek I believe this is a problem where horizontal reading breaks but vertical scrolling works. I've applied a fix that will hopefully resolve it, but in the future if you're getting a blank grey screen, try changing from horizontal to vertical or vice versa and that might fix it without having to wait for someone to see an error report.
Chapter still won't load on my phone app (running android on a Samsung - lastest updates) but it worked just fine reading it on the web browser version (though not as easy to find). So if you still can read the chapters that are not working in your app try the j-novel web reader online.
