@abcdave Somewhere in the middle of chapter 3 of volume 3.

An update! Just wanted to let you all know that there are only 5 chapters in volume 4, so ignore the event that said there were 6! Twas a mistake on our part. I hope all you werewolves can have mercy on our soul!

@zwabbit said in Campfire Cooking (Manga) Vol 6 Discussion:

@exedore Is the synopsis for vol 5 and 6 supposed to be identical?

6's hadn't been written yet. Curse you, new website revealing all our secrets.

Chapter 7 was delightful! Neo manga avalanches please!

Volume 6 - Chapter 3:

[Generic] if I recall right the company name at the start was Mystel. But it seems to have been changed to Mistel in the manga and later LN volumes? Page 3 ► CHAPTER 28: GOVERNER OF THE NORTH, PART 2 ► It should be GOVERNOR.

I’m quite fond of this type of series (Nozaki-kun, Eizouken, etc.) - it hits a sweet spot between characters striving to reach their dreams, the meta of content creators creating content about content creation, and also some level of insight into the production of media that I consume and have interest in. I also remember seeing V5 pop up on the homepage around the time I first joined JNC, and I was intrigued then, so I’m happy to have finally gotten the chance to read it.

Anyways, Asaishi for best boy!

Interesting that we can't see his face.

I think we saw all of it that we needed to. It's quite effective the way that scene was drawn as it is...

@thewickerman yep, mother knows all, sees all and stabs with her eyes. I wonder if her mom is Kami as a side gig?

@terabyte Yes, the author streamlined the fall of the Suun family (e.g. no mention to the sleeping gas that justifies the lack of people around at the beginning) while keeping the main plot points so that no further changes to the story are expected imho.
Still the clarity of the sequence of the events did suffer a more than bit...

@terabyte said in Mapping (Manga) Vol. 3 Discussion:

That's it, the manga ends with volume 3, chapter 5.

Aww.... I was rather enjoying it. Though, given what's coming up, I can also understand why that likely wouldn't have worked well as manga. Prose is certainly better suited for dealing with things in a fashion that doesn't feel rushed.

I really love the dynamic between Yogiri and Tomochika.

Catching up on this was a blast :) can’t wait for vol 6 to be published in Japan!

Arata! swoon

Volume 5 - Chapter 5:

@exedore FIGHTO!

@jason-maranto it seems fine for now.

HOWEVER...

spoiler

But, seeing as how either the author or the publisher are allowing it for now, I guess it could be considered an interesting take on the story?

@georgemto Ah.. understood. Thanks for the link!

Well...I wish she would’ve reply something to the black haired guy. So sus! >:(
As for the earl, he is indeed right. She needs more exposure to the world but that is half because of the people around her who are overprotective and half her own obsession towards books. Even if she gained insights through them, they mustn’t blind her. Pretty ironic.

@mortcs but he'll be dead by then :)

It's interesting how they have the opposite problem. She gets treated like a kid in Japan and he gets treated like a kid in Aralai.
