@ImIlyaz Hahaha thanks for compliment, but I don´t read everything ecchi or borderline. I have just selected some titles that I like and most of them are actually popular. But I know one guy on animesuki forum, we call him erotora, he is a true hentai master :D (I know just some LN/WN here and there)
I didn´t read mixed bathing actually. But I don´t like that kind of censorship that you mention. I still wait for Sam to license Hagure Yuusha cuz it is HJ I think and written by Shinmai author :D
@Sam-Pinansky Right now, so long as Grimgar and Invaders continue till the stories are finished, I am happy. And if it means buying all the volumes that I've already read, then that's what I'm going to do.
@quirriff Ah, good catch! I've fixed it in the premium epub edition, so if that's the one you have you can redownload it now.
I'll wait on uploading new versions of the other retail editions until volume 2 is out and I can update the links to other books in the series.
It's been a while since I've been able to really get into a good read. Recently I've found a host of them... is it ok to pick up a girl in a dungeon, legendary moonlight sculptor, gun otaku in another world, and now this.
Less than 24 hours to complete the read and worth every minute. (I really couldn't put it down).
I can't wait for vol 2, and ended up finding this site.
Now, if it's only let me upgrade without paying first price I could read more. (So I might not even be renewing membership.)
Downside, I'd have to wait longer for vol3...
"Kemono no Souja Erin" stars Erin and it's from the creator of "Moribito". Both starred strong female leads.
A Reddit thread called "[Spoiler][DISC] Kemono no Souja Volume 3-4 - A detailed summary of the events following the anime adaptation" (from Sep. or Oct.) goes into roughly 55 pages of summary. The thread creator has a link to a prior thread that highlights the differences between anime events (covers 1st 2 volumes) and the LN.
On the long summary, there are many character quotes (possibly over 50). However, in it being a long summary, I would be surprised how it could not be deemed fair use.
Looking at the titles they've released J Novel Club actually has more variety than I realized. But I admit I'm still a little concerned. The last couple titles they've licensed have been transported to another world fantasy titles. Don't get me wrong those can be perfectly enjoyable but I was already feeling burnt out on that genre before J Novel Club was a thing. I just hope in the future we get more variety in what they license.
2016 was pretty good for LNs.
Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon got past where the anime left off and the story just got better. Vol 6 might be the best in the series.
The latest arc in Accel World seems to never end, but it's been good. So long as I don't think of the game they're playing as software, but as magic.
J Novel club let me read a bunch of novels for a lot cheaper than I normally would've been able to. That was a godsend when I was traveling a lot last month and had multiple layovers and train rides.
I haven't gotten to Grimgar yet (plan on it), but I've enjoyed every series I've read from J Novel Club. Grimgar and My Little Sister Can Read Kanji got me to sign up, but The Faraway Paladin is the one that's really impressed me. It reads like a cross between an LN and a western fantasy novel. I'm curious where it's going to go.
Also, the Mixed Bathing in an Alternate Dimension surprised me. I was expecting stupid wish fulfillment in another dimension but got the beginnings of a hero.
@FMj7411 Unfortunately, since Grimgar is now licensed any other groups that were translating have stopped. Which was around Chapter 7 of Volume 4. So, we all just have to wait around 4 - 6 months until we can get to volume 4.
@Sean-McCann Thank you again :3
Nice, was not sure about that.
I should note, when you're signing back up with the same account, you don't get an additional credit. That's to prevent abuse.
Basically, we don't want people trying to game the system to get double the credits by cancelling and resubscribing each month.
Oh, it definitely makes sense why it works like that u.u
