Why that's not rendering properly...
Having just checked with a different title that has "I'm" as part of it, yes, the pop-up isn't rendering it properly.
Windows 10, Chrome.

So, yeah, something with the pop-up software isn't interpreting the character string as a command, but rather treating the entire title as a character string that shouldn't be manipulated.

Something to look at in regard to aesthetics, but I suspect very far indeed down their priority list as if doesn't prevent purchasing the item.

Ah okay, if it might be a license thing I can see it not being as simple as just changing it to match the others then.

Maybe a simple way to get around it would just to change the description from
"A brand-new fantasy adventure from Hitsuji Gamei begins!"
to something like
"A brand-new fantasy adventure from Hitsuji Gamei (Creator of works such as The Magician Who Rose From Failure and The Magic in this Other World is Too Far Behind!) begins!"
or something but I can understand not wanting to do that either as it doesn't really flow right when you read it.

The reason for this is to avoid issues with calculating the subscription fee: if the change could result in a refund being required, it can't be done without first letting the subscription lapse to prevent refunds being needed.

Are there better ways to handle this? Probably, but that would take development time, and like most companies, there never seems to be enough of that available.
Just one of the many half-measures still present in the service that now feel out of place.

They do link when they make their own physicals, but trying to maintain links to another publisher's version of the books is complicated. Seven Seas do their distribution through Penguin Random House. That's why the tag exists, so you know to go look on Seven Seas website to see what retailers they list the book on.

Ahh... Think you are right. I had avoided checking the thread (cuz spoilers) but just did so and there is in fact a week break announcement.

So the web calendar is correct and there is no actual part to fetch, but whatever source the app pulls from wasn't updated to reflect the week off so it still pushed the release out as previously scheduled, but with no actual release file on the back end to fetch.

You say you purchased Volume 5, yet your screen shot is of Volume 3?
Maybe you want to make sure you are opening the proper volume.

In any case, what you'll read on the web site is the pre-publication version, which will have errors that won't appear in the finished volume; better to download and read using an ebook reader since you've purchased the final edit version.

@holatuwol Someone from the staff would have to comment on that, but it's possible that the app store places restrictions on bonuses as well (like they have to be increments of 5% or something). I'm not sure the discrepancy coming from the app store's take is too likely considering afaik the app store's cut is 30%

I also get this issue when I have to switch to my kindle to my phone's data via tethering when I'm out. Sometimes closing out of the app and reopening doesn't help, I have to log out and log back in instead.

If you click on "buy", before you purchase, the price is displayed in "coins". Generally the price is 1 coin = 1 US cent.

As mentioned, most non-manga titles are 699 coins per book, 899 coins per manga title. Cost of coins depends on membership and such.
