It seems like the page goes
1 -> 10-to-19 -> 2 -> 20 -> 3-to-9

hm this is true. Kinda like the battle junkie type, except a leader instead of a soldier or mercenary. I don't think it's something I've seen, but it certainly should be able to exist.

Yup... and the only adventurer to really treat those monsters like small fry is Noor.

Noor really does live in an ocean of big fish. He never just encounters monsters; he always seems to encounter the monstrous monsters. His "normal" is always going to be plain abnormal.

His perceptions do seem skewed.
C'mon, the whole "with each step my bones fracture and muscles tear, but [Low Heal] handles it" bit?

There's been a severe lack of communications based upon his only having skills whose base forms are considered trash, and hardly anyone has knowledge that there is anything beyond the base form, and those who do...Noor is clearly far too young to have developed them to that level, why, he'd have had to spend ten years doing nothing else for that to be possible, maybe.

"So, Noor, what did you spend the last ten years doing?" has only been asked by those without the knowledge to suspect the results.

Another fun part. I'm thinking Baris knows what's really on Heale's mind and just used the crest conversation to help him save face.

It's nice to get to watch Erivan step up in combat since it's his specialty, and it helps keep it from being entirely Heale and only Heale.

For a while, I wondered why the bystander characters in this series tend to get so excited whenever they see one of the main characters has a "wardrobe malfunction". I mean, I could understand if some of them did, but it seems like all of them do. But, then I realized: every single person in this world is female. Males aren't involved in their reproductive process at all. That explains everything.

I'm beginning to remember why I stopped reading the LN.

You've got a spreading faith that says the Light of Origin is Eville!, the followers of whom all wear jewellery made using an unknown mineral, pillars of said mineral are being erected all around, and visitors from the Empire are becoming ill due to interference with their mana.

And not one of those associated with the Empire, nor Our Heroine who is a reincarnate of an Imperial, consider that any of this might tie together.

If you are seeking an enemy capable of unified action throughout your vassal states, maybe, just maybe, a faith that has spread throughout said states which is openly hostile to you might be something to investigate!!!
Especially if they encourage the spread of a mineral unknown to you, and you know that minerals can interact with the mana from the Light of Origin.
When you are already investigating Star Metal due to it being unknown.

OK, so investigating Star Metal has to do with it being something associated with the babe you're enamored of, rather than a sign of basic intelligence in the face of enemy action...

This is why I stopped reading the LN.
They are too stupid to rule.
Seriously.
They started this tour of the vassal states as an undercover investigation yet cannot see what's right under their noses.
It makes the arrogance of their enemy maneuvering in plain sight justified.

His life has been stolen from him. And stolen from him. And stol... guess that's enough of that.

He's done what he can to get something back. He could have stayed out of what was going on (proved that he could withstand "being killed" already). But he took on responsibility for HER.

Sure, he acts like a jerk. But he's also acted as best he could relative to her.

So now the author allowing (fake)Kei to get KOed makes sense. Had to get Kei to make up with her mom.

I was reading his hesitation as reflecting our reality and its values.
One has to have permission prior to using experimental procedures.
One has to have permission to do damn near anything to avoid lawsuit for malpractice.
If a life is saved as a result of treatment, but there's a side effect of the treatment that endures... folks will prosecute concerning that side effect totally ignoring that the individual would have died without said treatment.

He has memories of an advanced civilization; this stuff is part and partial of advanced civilizations.
Since he isn't living in an advanced civilization ... mob justice has always been a thing.

Since they don't know of an effective treatment, those who survive, survive.
They are familiar with what changes might be there with those who survive.
If he treats her and she survives, what proof is there that it was due to his action unless the odds of survival are that bad?
If the survival odds are that good, then if a side effect kicks in some would be sure to argue that she'd have survived and that his action caused her to be worse than if he'd left well enough alone.

All of which is well and good, but my take based upon what we've been shown in-story is that there was ample justification for believing she wouldn't survive without his treatment.
Definitely that he didn't believe she would survive without his treatment, which is why I considered his hesitation the stupidest thing ever.
Yes, it's nice that he understands all of these ethical considerations, but if he believes she will die without proper treatment... at least start moving toward her house while mulling over all of this stuff.
Or be shown packing the required materials for transport, something other than standing around stroking his chin while pondering ethics.
