Well, the series just went full horror guro with the most recent part. Even more so than I'd pictured in my head while reading it!

Well, problem 1 solved already then. Sage Yogiri it is. Wonder what would have happened if the story actually went in that direction.

Being a demon lord "pays the bills", as it were (even if, in this case "the bills" are actually social debts one believes one owes to one's grandparents).

I agree about the detection by sound, detecting where a shot was fired from based on sound triangulation is a technology from at least 50 years ago - so the Chinese army must have it too. The buddies next door were from a unit that specialized in just this kind of reconnaissance.

Ah. So the two love birds became actual lovebirds some time after his fathers death? Timeline becoming more clear.

This manga's facial expressions are always just priceless.

v6c4pg14p2: “You’re wearing a rose on your lapel?” Panel 5: That’s not my definition of a lapel, but I’m not too aware of fashion definitions. The rose looks flat enough that I thought that it was printed on her shirt/top/blouse, but it’s not there on the next pages, so printing is out (unless the artist is just forgetful).

v5c6pg30p4: That’s not an airplane that I’d want to fly on. I don’t think that I’m tall enough to reach the overhead bins. It almost looks like a wide train, rather than an airplane; the windows are too big, and the walls too slab-like. Are we seeing business class? I can’t think of any economy seating in a 4-engine wide body that’s 2-3-2. I’m too lazy to look up the A340. I think that 747 economy seating was often ten seats across. A380 upper deck? B767 seating might be 2-3-2 (might not), but that’s a twin.

That’s enough semi-educated nitpicking from me. :p

Edit: Yeah, from panels on the following pages, those are probably supposed to be business-class seats. The windows are still too big, though. ;)

Once again, poor Zack. Brother-zoned himself when he failed to be there and notice what was going on. Manga really hits it home that Shiori could have easily ended up with Zack. Sorry to Clemens who was never even in the running.

I call shenanigans. I expect Shiori fell asleep sitting at the side of the bed and Alec or Rurii helped her into it.

Still nice to see Alec mention that Shiori has a bad habit if dismissing what she does. She probably singlehandedly prevented large casualties by assessing the situation and freeing the snow wolf mates.

And now all power to the Akane! I like the modified cheongsam dress combined with the tonfa. Hopefully the plot continues with Akane next time.
