Reckless Journey is a prequel spin-off that takes place before the main story, but it isn't required reading.

It started lighthearted with some laughter and smiles but ended with a cliffhanger.

@someoldguy Er, no, it's just a regular word that has a legitimate meaning. Saying you've never seen it before isn't justification for challenging a perfectly good editorial word choice.

This is the final chapter of volume 2, and like I said above, the official start of the arc plot!

Vol.3 Chapter 4:

p2 2nd panel - Surely the MOM could've been transformed better onto the phone screen. The perspective does not align at all. p29 4th panel - "continue" is split between two lines and needs a connective dash. p35 - I think I get the tone you're going for with "Little Maria", but I don't think it translates great. I don't know what would be a good solution though.

Chapter 5:

p6 3rd panel - Is there a reason why he says "This is a world where words like 'ability' and 'talent' mean everything." as opposed to "This is a world where ability and talent mean everything."? The former sounds less natural to me, to a point where I wonder if there's a specific reason why it's specifically that way. p22 2nd panel 2nd bubble - Would a middle aged mom from the countryside call nerds "nerds"? In my mind it wouldn't be in their vernacular. Wouldn't "emotionally stunted adults" fit the same bill and be a little more adequate? p26 4th panel 3rd bubble - Shouldn't it be "Serizawa's"? p34 2nd panel - Missing word "But being fulfilling is no substitute for adequate pay." p35 1st panel 1st bubble - Missing period.

Yeah, this is reminding me of all the gut punches I suffered while reading the novel T.T

V2c5p28: "Free reign" -> "Free rein"

@novaxii We do one chapter every two weeks, with two weeks off in between volumes for the team to get all the extras together for the compiled editions and do internal reviews.

Volume 4 will be starting shortly.

@sasha-mcglynn I apologize for replying so late. I must have missed it in the notification panel. When it comes to magic then it's just great, I'm loving it. The mangaka truly put much focus on it just like how it was in novels too :) By the way, perhaps I've said it before, but I really like that there is an actual lore for magic in this series instead of your standard video game-y "press X to cast Fireball" thing like in many, many other LNs and Mangas

@jon-mitchell It cover up to around 80% of chapter 4, out of 5, but if you count the side story (not the bonus one) it's around half of vol 1.

It really seems like it going to be better than the LN I hope we get a print release one day.

This is the end of Volume 1, and we're not getting the eBook ready, so last chance to get any corrections done.
We're also going to be heading right into volume 2 without a break, so chapter seven will be up in two weeks!

Contraceptive film: The Japanese actually gives a specific brand name, Mylura, but that product was eventually discontinued for a very good reason--it didn't do anything. Given how much trouble I had even figure out what the hell it was, we figured it was better to use the generic term.
