@Windsagio Yeah, I can see "Murder the newbie before he gets too competent/threatening to the Orc Mafia who are my secret boss" being a thing he goes for. And I do want to specify secret boss there because there's no way the guild would have a positive opinion of him out of earshot if he was open about working with the Mob.

I've read the books, bits of the fantranslated manga, watched the anime, now I read the manga again, and it's still great.

At first I was thinking that yeah, it's obviously the manga that goes all in on the cuteness of it all, and then the serious parts hit and I when I say hit I mean hit, and I'm close to tears again. It's just all around good, hitting both the funny and the sad perfectly.

My favourite completely inconsequential detail was the picture of the "lost and found" box where Fiene got her magic wand, including a single sock and a teddy bear missing an eye. My favourite consequential detail was Art flying off from a single uppercut and Baldr's face as it happens.

Floof... fluffed. Mission Complete!

Oh no. Now I feel a need to go buy some copperware. Somebody help!

Nice! All according to plan keikaku!

All that swimming was for a reason.
She's the best damn illusion mage in the business, but her illusions are only as good as her personal knowledge permits.
If you want to convince something which has its optical organs beneath the water, the underwater aspect has to be spot-on.
A hull looked at in drydock isn't the same in appearance as one viewed through water, so you need to observe it well enough underwater to get it right.

If you only have one good shot, don't use it for your ranging fire.

I love that you can basically hear Lefi whistling inconspicuously as she sneaks up on Yuki to troll him during weapon crafting.

Yep yep.

Also, Why did the manga have to end with that as the cliffhanger? Why? Beautiful trolling on the Mangaka's part.

Someone offered them cookies, clearly.

Haven't we come across someone else who used rebar as a weapon?
...it's so long since i've read about it that the memories grow dim...

@Andyyy

Hello,

There is no set date for when Volume 5 will start pre-publication on the site as of right now.

For a general overview of how new volume starts are handled at J-Novel Club, please refer to the following topic:

https://forums.j-novel.club/topic/3478/future-volume-release-schedule/1

Thank you

Rest assured, Lord Simeon and I were never involved romantically! That's an impressive bit of trolling on Rose's part :)

Lines I love: My neighbour's dog repeatedly picks fights with my cat... ones it can't win.

Hi Assassin!

I'm reading Volume 9 Part 4 and it seems the page is out of order there.
It seems like the page goes
1 -> 10-to-19 -> 2 -> 20 -> 3-to-9

A little edit I made for the Discord:

@TheGrimLich
hm this is true. Kinda like the battle junkie type, except a leader instead of a soldier or mercenary. I don't think it's something I've seen, but it certainly should be able to exist.

Sui is just so precious!

I'm guessing the gag of him misunderstanding the monsters is going to go one for quite a while. Any bets on how many volumes it will take for the mc to get a clue?

Cannot participate due to reading the LN translation.

It's just a goblin.

and

I can't believe adventurers treat these like small fry.

Yup... and the only adventurer to really treat those monsters like small fry is Noor.

Noor really does live in an ocean of big fish. He never just encounters monsters; he always seems to encounter the monstrous monsters. His "normal" is always going to be plain abnormal.

His perceptions do seem skewed.
C'mon, the whole "with each step my bones fracture and muscles tear, but [Low Heal] handles it" bit?
Craziness, man, craziness.

There's been a severe lack of communications based upon his only having skills whose base forms are considered trash, and hardly anyone has knowledge that there is anything beyond the base form, and those who do...Noor is clearly far too young to have developed them to that level, why, he'd have had to spend ten years doing nothing else for that to be possible, maybe.

"So, Noor, what did you spend the last ten years doing?" has only been asked by those without the knowledge to suspect the results.

Another fun part. I'm thinking Baris knows what's really on Heale's mind and just used the crest conversation to help him save face.

It's nice to get to watch Erivan step up in combat since it's his specialty, and it helps keep it from being entirely Heale and only Heale.

For a while, I wondered why the bystander characters in this series tend to get so excited whenever they see one of the main characters has a "wardrobe malfunction". I mean, I could understand if some of them did, but it seems like all of them do. But, then I realized: every single person in this world is female. Males aren't involved in their reproductive process at all. That explains everything.

Happy Ice Cream!

"Well, here goes nothing!"
opens door, looks in, closes door, backs away slowly
"Why am I in this section of town, anyway?"

@Korppi said in Peddler in Another World: I Can Go Back to My World Whenever I Want (Manga): Volume 1:

Why does the Calendar page show next Wednesday(15th) when it was released today?

Thanks for spotting this! It's gone on sale on our site a week early due to a small date mixup. The release date on all other retailers is March 15. Apologies for any confusion!

@rkkn I think it's a hint as to his purpose too.

He's there to share the wonders of KARATE!
