The bonus stories are often from bonuses exclusive to one store or store chain in Japan, and the Japanese publisher only lets JNC include them with the Premium digital editions.

You don't get them if you buy digital books from Amazon, B & N, etc. or in print, only with the JNC membership Premium version because that was the terms of the license.

it'll be interesting to see what happens with Crunchyroll's manga subscription service now that the Sony buyout is final

@wellwisher you got number 1

Probably when some publisher makes an announcement saying so? Most of the time if it's a JNC novel, I'll see someone posting the release announcement in the thread for that novel in the forum, if someone happens to see it.

As for food that would be harder to do when more people starts going to dungeons. But as for single person? I doubt in any city shops goes out of stock because of food for additional 144 people.

Also, unless anime and LNs are lying to me the Japanese still use cash a lot more than western countries do. He can hit up multiple stores in multiple areas and pay cash for camping food, energy bars, jerky, trail mix, instant dried food, canned food, etc.

Once he had teleport he could even do that all across Japan, and it's a good way to launder some of the cash from the dungeon.

Hello,

As of right now there are no official dates for when Demon Lord Volume 14 will start pre-publication on the site.

For a general overview of how new volume starts are handled, please refer to the following topic:

https://forums.j-novel.club/topic/3477/future-volume-release-schedule

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to ask.

Thank you.

My local library system has been picking up LNs, but generally only 1 or 2 copies of a volume. I did a quick search and they seem to have or have on order every single volume of Ascendance of a Bookworm up to Vol 3 Part 2 plus the first volume of manga. They're also in process of ordering a few other JNC series such as By the Grace of the Gods and Seirei Gensouki's omnibuses.

My question is are the particular Korean language (whatever the equivalent of a 'light novel' is) titles that are likely to appeal to JNC's audience? Romcom's? Action? Sci-Fi? Fantasy?

For the most part, Korea just translates and imports anime/manga/LN. There are some original Korean IPs, but that is really more of a cottage industry than a sprawling behemoth like it is in Japan. If you go to a Korean book store it is chock full of translated works.

As far as cultural exports go, Korea focuses on K-pop, K-drama, web comics, and historical dramas. Unless that changed in the last couple of years, there doesn't seem to be any push in the country to make its literature international.

There's some really good novels from Korea if villains/revenge stories are your thing. I don't know why but they tend to write those stories better than the Japanese counterparts.

great!! so my hope for some ultralisk wasn't in vain
