It may seem that way on the surface and I'll admit I also though that way initially, but there could easily be a lot more going on behind the scenes that we're not privy to. The author definitely had a racist streak and he may have ruffled the wrong feathers by making some bad decisions.

There's just too much we don't know and never will as I doubt anyone with the knowledge would speak of it publicly.

Well now that I've started reading volume 1 I guess I'll share my thoughts on it. The first chapter was pure setup and honestly I didn't find it all that interesting but since it had the burden of setting up the rest of the series I felt this was forgivable.

The second chapter was much better though as Tomozaki's social awkwardness made for some pretty good comedy, nothing that made me laugh too hard but enough that I was kept entertained. Hopefully it only gets better from here.

Yeah, it started out clever and original, but I was annoyed enough by the last couple that I just read the prepubs instead of buying them.

Chunni spirit, lolis, harem, random yelling, slapstick comedy . . . not the series I signed up for.

Well, "end" as in "transition to after story", and since we're not far off from there being more "after story" than "main story", it's really all just "story".

might be odd artistic choice, or not a tail, or the punchline in a joke we read about in chapter 13 or whatever

but yea, on creatures with spines the tail is an extension of the vertebrae, the base of the tail would be anterior or 'above' the pelvic bones

So excited! I’ve read the first two volumes of “A Sisters” and have the third but will switch over to digital as I don’t hold onto any paper editions. It’s a very funny series.

I hope whoever has the rights to Rokka open it up to digital too. Really want to read past vol 2

@Claire-Lilly @Clarabelle I do like my female MCs, but not all ones with male MCs are terrible by any means. I find a big thing (though not the only thing) for quality is having a good gender-balanced cast, though.
