If You are writing this story I think going on a popular or well-known writers site thing might be good(I know there are some out there just don't know any) or make your own site or blog thing and post it there. If you do post is on a blog site like Weebly or Wix or something then you probably would need to post a new chapter on a regular basis then. If you do make a blog or something then I likely read it. I really like the WN style books. examples of WN style books are:

    Konosuba
    Smartphone Isekai
    So I'm a Spider
    Rising of the Shield Hero
    Death March

series where there is a forward-moving story yet never stays too long on any 1 arc or adventure or quest. I am still iffy on the whole Isekai AND Future thing. I think it is probably best to ditch the Isekai cuz the 5000+ yrs in the future is pretty much a new world (Earth 5000 yrs ago is not like Earth now heck even 100 yrs ago we have advanced so much). Whether you do the world is a dark age or the technology is so far advanced or a little bit of both where they have the tech but no one remembers how to use them I would like it.

I wanted Suzu on a cover too. And yea, only 3 months between volumes 7 and 8. Overlap is after my wallet. Comiket is coming up too and there are 4 wall scrolls I need to get. T_T

Otherwise, there are no alternate covers from the Limited Editions as far as I can tell. Just the regular Melon Books Metalic Cover which I guess counts, but that's something you put on a normal copy.

@smashman42 Adding in a versioning label and date to your "My Library" (it'll say what date the latest update is, maybe with a change log) is something on my list of things to implement.

For now, if it's something really important (missing content, major error, etc), I'll actually directly email everyone who bought the premium ebook about it.
Other than that, we haven't done too much beyond fixing a few typos.

Gah, I forgot about the .5s. Wasn't aware there was a bonus volume though.

Because of the Princess Maker 2 "kiddie porn" effect (better to Google it for the particulars). The PM2 that's in Steam HAD to remove that "feature" in order to sell in the US, and even then, Gainax had a problem licensing it as they got diplomatic notice the last time. There are certain things that do get censored for legal reasons on their way to the US.

Editing for legal reasons is fine with me. There's no need to have questionable material such that the US can beat your head over it. US v Whorley (2008) is the current law.

@sfx-453 It varies. 2 weeks is common for series that have already more released volumes but I could see a delay if the TL or editor had existing plans or such. Since 5 just ended I would not consider seeing the first part until 2nd week of November. And if it shows up earlier than thats just gravy :)

I’ve already asked the translator, @ReadingSteiner , if it was an error or a release date slip in the Volume 5 discussion. Hopefully we hear something soon! I know several others were sad not to be able to read it tonight.

Edit: @raddevlin Just saw the post on Goodreads in the promotions tab of the Japanese Novel Club. Shows how much free time I've had to spend there lately. xP

Haha, beat you to the scoop! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

You should pop your head in every now and then to chat! We've just started the group read for All You Need Is Kill (topical since it's another Haikasoru book) and it would be great to have you on board.

I read that one, so I'll definitely show up at some point.

I wanted to mention there that the audiobook is free on Hoopla to rent.

@hatguy12 After all, we're just paying for the pre-pub and not access to the whole story? It wasn't made clear on the details and no hint from the listing that there are missing parts. Though I got some hint that there might be missing parts but they are easy to dismiss, specially when you're reading on mobile phone only.

@gonki Hyouka is also available from the Japanese BookWalker site, and you can use an account from the global site to purchase it (the book itself is Japanese-only, obviously).

I'm on Goodreads as well. One day I was just curious to find out how many books I have read. So I made an account, logged in all the books I remember reading, and have been adding to it ever since.
