@piisfun still, when they hide the core inside inn, they were still scared from the enemy. It would be nice for Keima's sleep that, moving the core to Haku's place or just second dungeon. No one knows that dungeon or at least no adventurers going there, so moving the main core the second dungeon and put some traps would be enough.

Oh, man. What a place to end it! There are so many unknowns that seem like they'll be relevant. Like, where did the Parano group end up is obviously the biggest question, but also...

What did the Margrave want from Renji? Was it related to Forgan's invasion of Alterna? Is the No-Life King really back? What happened to him in the first place? Has there been a new generation or two of Volunteer Soldiers while everyone was away? Will any of them become relevant someday? Will Ranta revert back to being an awful person after reuniting with Yume?

These post-timeskip stories in particular have been really exciting. I'm excited to see what comes next!

I'm still not too enthusiast about having Nobunaga as the last boss candidate but I have to say that I really like the way he is portrayed as an honorable man who has no ill feelings against Guy to, yet he us driven by a powerful ambition that doesn't let him accept anything standing against his goal. And the remark in the end that he is actually short for today's standards made me laugh.
I have a little nitpick, though, I think the author is going a bit too far in depicting the powerful presence of these men, at this rate in a couple of volumes Guy to will be able to win battles just by glaring intensely at the opposing army.

Does anyone know when the sixth light novel volume will be released in Japan?

@stardf29 well i will still keep reading but as for reader i feel like author doing some sloppy job. With all details (i cant see too much in this series but well...), and saying things like "laser beams, photoshoots, all other todays words" destroying the world his/hers build. First i thought it was because of translations but after reading more you can see the REAL problem :)

PS:Although i said i will keep reading but i dont see any reason that series would someone's favorite.

That Bonus short story was hilarious.

Overall the Volume was great.

Much more toned down with the gruesomeness that Volume 1 had, and there really wasn’t any heart wrenching scene this time around (not that I mind those types of scenes), in fact it had a particularly heart warming scene near the end there.

Looks like the first arc is now complete, looking forward to more...

Volume 2 (Premium Edition): 2 Bonus Short Stories The Seed of Rumors Serge’s Monologue

It's a bit late for me to post this, but this story was really sweet and the illustrations totally beautiful!!! I really want to read more such novels in the future!

@regex It will probably be only 3 volumes since the WN is approximately that long.

How could a second generation and a third generation give Sain and his attendants so much problem? If he was struggling to try to have some remotely control of the situation, how is he supposed to fare against stronger opponents?

Isnt he supposed to be the strongest holy knight with a lot of experience, or did he slack off his earliy teenage years? What about combat experience? Melia didnt hesitate to kill someone, shouldnt this apply to Sain as well? He at least showed signs to be capable of killing humanoid opponents.

Compared to the president, he feels so lackluster. Sain could have for example made multiple sanctuaries or expanded them (the size wasnt mentioned) to encase the whole battlefield. He could have also used the light ray to incapacitate his opponents.

Did the author nerf to build him? Just so the author can act like Sain is getting slowly stronger, when he already has that strength? So he doesnt steamroll everything?

There thinga that makes this story enjoable and aspects that make it less enjoyable. I hope the makes it clear why the President is that strong, steadfast and composed in his actions, when Sain obviously should have had the same quality.

A lot of Finnish names the author uses, Kaltiainen, Valjakka, Juutilainen. Juutilainen brothers is pretty interesting because there were the famous Juutilainen brothers in the Finnish wartime, where the older one became a national hero in the battle of Kollaa and later became famous in the French Foreign Legion, and the younger was THE top flying ace of Finland at the time(94 confirmed aerial combat victories in 437 sorties).

There was one instance in the previous volume as well, 'tonto' is likely after 'tonttu' which means an elf or gnome who are usually regarded as assistants to Santa Claus.

@Malloc sure, linking to other sites that have the information would be better than manually updating that, but having all the right links in one place for all JNC titles would be nice.

Also, I don't think the grouping of (JNC has the license and volumes are already out) vs. (new volume not out and/or not yet licensed) would be setting expectations too high for any reasonable reader. Saying the license has already been negotiated for the next volume isn't promising it will start appearing in x weeks.
