I'm up through part 4 volume 1. I do like that they address my questions as they come up in this book (a skeleton has no muscles, so shouldn't his limb movements be bad? The answer was yes, very sluggish to start).

I thought JNC was just that for a long time. Was quite disappointed to learn that it was otherwise, and further more disappointed to learn that from reddit rather than the official site. FAQ really needs that question imho.

I got my membership fully knowing how the site worked, so no regrets on that part, well worth it for me. But I can see where misunderstandings could occur where it shouldn't.

Well just finished reading this one... It's certainly not as wacky as the 1st book, and a lot more of a serious tone in the book, though there are some elements that still exist in the same format.

That isn't to say that it's worse or better, it's just different.

I still really enjoyed the story and I'm looking forward to new things in book 3! 😊

@terabyte Thanks for the link. What a mess. I think I can see where all sides of this mess are coming from and I have not had enough time to think it through. Unfortunately like most Americans I have only limited knowledge of the Sino Japanese war and Nanking both of which I have read of or seen mentioned but basically no information beyond the bare fact that both happened. Too bad something like this blowup had to happen I was enjoying the series and the characters up to this point Loli God was hilarious

@darkrad Isn't she control AI No. 1? In one of the bonus stories (I think in vol 1) they mention that #1 wrote an article about the Dendro Diet where girls can eat all they want in Dendrogram and not gain wait, and that AI had the initial of "A".

I had a lot of fun with this volume. The whole series is tonally all over the place but somehow at this stage it really works. One minute it’s slice of life, then gory action then goofy hijinks all with a side order of cynical OP. I wouldn’t want every Light Novel to be like this but I’m really happy this one is.

Just read this and liked it way more than expected. It’s more grounded and that last battle scene with multiple perspectives was great. Looking forward to volume 2 being published.

Way behind but finally finished this and of course it was just as wonderful as I’d hoped it would be. Epic dragon battle to end all epic dragon battles and Will remains grounded and real through it all. I am really impressed by how the underlying thematic integrity of the series remains. Thank you guys so much for your effort in translating and releasing this. It’s easily one of my favorite fantasy series.

@korppi the reason Rokujouma isn’t listed in the schedule is cause they are released monthly, so whether part 1 becomes available the whole book is available for prepub at least, since it lists the whole book at time of prepub upload it won’t appear again when the ebook comes out.

This book isn’t listed cause more then likely it was just a issued whine added it to the schedule.
