The manga is one of my very favorites, so I would like to read the novel, too. Especially the lore about dragons in this series is interesting.

I would love to see this novel licensed! It‘s a pity the manga was cancelled, it was one of the first ones I‘ve ever read.

Maybe it's a bit far-fetched, but if the manga from Tokyopop sells well, the chances for the novel should also increase. Just a thought.

In any case, I could really imagine the series as an anime. Can a novel/manga ever get an anime adaptation if the original author has already passed away? I don't know much about this.

Um, I don't know if you've seen it yet, but there's already a thread for the novel. I'd suggest upvoting the title there to avoid confusion.

And by the way, the cover is from the manga, which was unfortunately canceled after 3 volumes, not from the novel.

I would try this. the level of stupid would determine if I did more than one volume.

This is an amazing story that I think falls into a similar camp as Deaths Daughter and Otome Heroine.

I personally think it's criminally underrated, also has the funniest epilogue I have ever read.

This one was really funny. Now since Alphapolis was loosening their restrictions, I hope that this one will be licensed one day.

I like how it depicts the feelings of being a "genius" and the attempts of trying to overcome a rival who truly is someone special. I enjoyed seeing how the relationship between the female lead and the Mc developed. The depiction of the emotional struggle of the MC was one of the highlights to me.
