I've been following the manga on this one, and even though it is very slow to release, I find the story very interesting. I know that I've posted this before, but I would really love for this story, the light novel at least, to get an official translation. I would love for the manga to also receive a translation, but due to it's very slow release rate I just don't think that is a possibility right now.
The biggest problem I can see is that apparently the fan translation is already approved by the author, so people might be upset if it's shut down in favor of an official release. Or it might become another Rokujouma, but that means it would be less viable commercially.

It'd really suck if it doesn't happen because, say, TO BOOKS are asking for too much.
I'll just say that Sam wouldn't publicly say that we were working on them if we didn't already pass that hurdle.
So what you're saying is you're trying to figure how to release them without killing Quof and Kieran. Gotcha.

The vote needs a "Kinda interested, might read it" option cause that's where I'm at. I read the manga on it and it was "okay" so I dunno. Like I said, maybe, maybe not.
Hmm, I cant seem to find a poll edit option, but I will keep that in mind for the future.

Would really love to get this before Earth Star disappears. The publisher just lost three of their bigger titles to Square Enix's new label so if Earth Star is circling the drain, god only knows what will happen to the various completed series like this if the publisher sinks. Would be great to see them licensed and published in English before the series is lost.
Someone needs to check in with the author on the status of the series. Earth Star (the publisher) just lost three of their biggest titles to Square Enix. It sounds like Earth Star might not be around for too much longer. Author might have to find a new publisher.
