Just a tiny update. The manga is "complete" at 3 published volumes (so Alicia's Diet Quest length).

The light novel is not listed as complete afaik, and is at 2 volumes. Last volume release was October 2018 for the light novel unfortunately.

The variable we’re not discussing is 2000 copies over how long? Sam may be ok with FMP taking years to get to 2000 copies sold if having that title draws in customers that buy other things, or cements a relationship with an agent/publisher/author that leads to access to other, more popular franchises
