This never got licensed, huh? For some reason I thought it did. Whelp, here's hoping if it's good.

With a cute female lead drawn by an artist I’m pretty fond of and a story at least partly about crafting I’m definitely up for Kusamahoushi Chloe (and indeed already have all three volumes). With it being completed last year, the longer it goes the less likely a license is going to get though.

It always helps to give at least the original name so people can look it up without having to rely on whatever scanlators are calling it (although in this case it is an official name). It sounded familiar and I have read some and enjoyed it enough to get 11 chapters deep at least. The first volume is actually out soon so I’ll at least put it on my wishlist but I don’t know if I’ll preorder.

This is スライム聖女, serialised on Isekai Young Jump (although half the chapters will be removed in a weeks time due to the volume’s release)

I remember watching the anime years ago and recently made a friend watch it. Of course I watched it with them just so I could hear their reactions. I would love to read the manga so I totally support this suggestion!

I have no idea what their stipulations are for them to drop a series. Diaries from what I understand was selling poorly also before the anime (I'm assuming it is through the roof now.). It might simply be as long as a series isn't selling in the red they keep translating it. It would take someone who actually works at j novel to explain it. Chances are they wouldn't share that kind of details though.

Anyways a rewatch of Maria first season just finished on reddit that was rather active with comments for pride month. Though sadly the post themself got bot brigaded down voted for each one.

A chinese novel? It sounds really exiting.

As of today, the Gentle Noble manga has been delayed again, making volume 8 a full year late. It makes me wish all the more that I had the light novel to look forward to as well. Especially with J-Novel Club's part by part releases, it wouldn't be such a crazy long wait, and there's plenty to catch up on. We're up to 18 volumes of the light novel after Misaki finally returned from a long break to care for her ill parents, plus two short story collections and a guidebook that I would kill to have translated!
