@myskaros I also think it is a good idea to make a comment how it is best to also to Sort newest to oldest in the Licensing Suggestions Forum to check back up to (X) hours because something new may not be on this list yet.

People are not computers. Most people tend to ignore common/nonimportant words and focus on important words. I had to actually look up whether those series even had "The" in the title or not.
In other words, your suggestion was taken into consideration, but management has decided to continue with its current strategy at this time :)

One thing I think would be nice to see (and if no one else is willing, I could very well end up doing this myself): having another instance of this list sorted by publisher, or at least sorted into the three groups of "Publisher JNC already has an established relationship with", "Publisher JNC has yet to establish a relationship with but is not Kadokawa/Shogakukan", and "Kadokawa/Shogakukan" (the two publishers noted to have major hurdles as far as JNC licensing goes). That way we can see which titles have a particularly good chance of getting picked up, as well as which ones are major longshots for if somehow JNC manages to work a miracle on those two publishers.

According to Sam, each Kodansha line has its own editorial office.
So, getting title from Kodansha LIGHTNOVEL =/= he can get title from Kodansha Taiga.
So, it's better to list them under "Publishers J-NC Has Yet to Work With" -

@myskaros I think there should be a different way to split up the groups than just "Titles with official English versions (anime, manga, etc.)" and "Titles that are purely Japanese". It will cause some suggestions to be hidden as some people may ignore the first category thinking "It is already translated" when the Light Novel has not been licensed and translated.

@malloc I mean, this is literally the LN suggestion forum where none of these LNs are already translated. I don't know why anyone would ignore a huge list based on a preconception.

@myskaros I guess I misinterpreted that first list from the title itself too then. I thought it WOULD include suggestions that have already been translated since the title of that group doesn't exclude it.
