The situation is growing pretty intense now. I like that the novel is giving more details in to this excursion from the anime.

So damned funny! I think I like this best when there's no more plot than an early Urusei Yatsuri story.

Great translation, comedy is seriously hard to get right and this series is hilarious! I can't imagine it's easy to maintain fidelity to the text and keep it funny?

75% in "horrow show" maybe should be "horror show" unless it's a reference I'm missing.

I think this series is just so much silly fun. You mentioned the time travel aspect being as deep as Doreamon, but honestly a lot of the humor kind of reminds me of a smutty teenaged Doreamon- stupid people getting over their heads in crazy situations. This is great for me because I love Doreamon's humor

Finished. Now that Natsuki is in the running, I'll have to give more thought to her as love interest. I also like Yuichi's intersctions with Mutsuko's friend from the club, but maybe the Oni and her will be a thing. :japanese_ogre:

When we licensed Paladin, only 1 volume had been published, so I'm actually still in the process of adding on the new volumes 2 and 3(both of them). So it might be more than a week between novels, but shouldn't be too much longer than that!

This came together surprisingly well at the end for me. Despite being so-so on it for a while, there are admittedly a lot of humorous scenes throughout. Still, near the end is when I gained more of an appreciation for some characters, and there are some intriguing teases for what's to come. Moe stuff isn't really my thing, but the characters can be quite funny and endearing at times.

I probably never would've tried this if I wasn't subbed, but I did end up finding this novel to be fairly funny and entertaining. and I do plan on reading more.

Minor typo'ish item in part 7 around 12%: but on the west side of the wasteland there lied a large gate that was overflowing with demons.

I'm fairly certain "lied" is incorrect (past tense of lie, telling untruths); I think "lay" (past tense of lie, relating to position) is likely the correct one.

In terms of potential improvements, one thing thing about the E-book that seems off is the table of contents is located at the end of the E-book as opposed to towards the beginning. Nothing major but I'm not sure if that is intended or not.

In terms of story, overall the character growth from the beginning to the end of the volume shows promise and looks to improve and build going forward.

I'm starting this one. I'm not sure it's going to be for me since I don't like being strung along on romantic stories where there's more than 2 candidates, and any possibility of no victor (things remain ambivalent after the final volume / MC remains dense or unromantic) or no losers (the clone or I'll marry them all ending). :black_heart:

After part 1, I guess I'll root for either the childhood friend or the mage who called him to her land to win, but it's early. Childhood friend, Satsuki Otomo, will probably have to prove she liked him without knowing about the "hero" bloodline I'm guessing. She's the dark haired one in the business suit on the cover, right?

Read through a bit of it (up to part 2). It's not my favorite so far, but I do appreciate that one of the party members is a demihuman male. It'd be funny if Tuuya's party ends up all males after his wishes for female party members only, but my guess is they won't do that. x)

So, the Lucina like woman on the cover (Haruno Shinonome) actually has black hair, huh? Looks like a shade of blue on this cover. I remember people saying that Devil is a Part Timer's "Hero" also had black hair in the first book, though represented as red head in official art. That sort of dark blueish can be black though, just a way of shading it for art.

I might put some names below that I want to keep so I remember them when the book goes offline (I'm awful with names, especially when I use Text to Speech):

Rium = little crystal mage
Haruno = cover girl; transported hero
Rulitora = Desert Lizard Man

Cosmo [Kramer? xD] = hero who has princess and her companions with him.

Well, almost done with this. While there was a lot more info I felt in the early going, we're starting to get into the meat of the adapted material, lots of conversational stuff that I recognize from the show. Ranta is getting better... Though he still has the occasional awful attitude, and it goes beyond him being quirky / himself (telling Haruhiro to drop a profession he likes, like he's the one who should decide for him).

Yume talking to herself in the third person has to be grating for some, right? =P

And yeah, Merry honestly isn't coming off as that bad to this point, but maybe that's because I know why she's acting the way she is. With the show, I remember commenters below the videos so upset with her attitude for that first week or two after she appeared.
