Making my way through this part.
So, yeah, a lot more world building in the novel than the show, like details about the city, the goblins being slaves. Though the recent chapters are settling more into the character pieces that were in the show, fighting goblins, sleeping on the bunks, mapping out the ruined city.
I don't remember the black belly vs pale comments from Ranta towards Manato, but I feel like I do remember Shihoru standing up for him. Shihoro is still a bit diminutive, but I think the running gag of her speaking something bad under her breath about Ranta wasn't in the show, and it kind of shows that she isn't just the "innocent" one, she has opinions.
And so the shipping battles began. And judging by the comments here (and what I know from the show), one ship is about to end rather abruptly in this section. T.T
