I often tell to myself that the only real differences between me at 15 years old and me at 45 is that now I have a car instead of a bicycle and I wake up to go to work instead of school. So I can totally relate with Yuki not seeing himself mature enough to form a family and raising a kid. Now he gained more confidence and the family is going to expand in the future...we'll see how the little girls will adapt to a new role as big sisters.
Speaking of expanding families, I hope the author won't make us wait too long before having Leila becoming a wife.

Between here and webtoon I'm always in the middle of several dozens stories and it's sometimes getting hard keeping them apart, so doing them in volume-sized instead of chapter-sized chunks helps. :D

@Kotenmaru We know that the elf chief is Lucy's grandfather, and is also Johnnie's son, so unless something severely improper happened, that elf who is Johnnie's daughter can't also be Lucy's grandma. I mean, given that Lucy's dad is a demon, if that elf is Lucy's grandma, it can't even be the case that her parents are first cousins, it would have to be the worst case.

I'm gonna bet on great aunt. Let's not assume worst case scenario incest unless given absolute proof.

@GeorgeMTO I haven't read Vol 11 yet, so this guess may have already been proven wrong. But I think, in the original timeline, Momo was never freed from Bifrons. My best guess is, in the original timeline:

Abel and the Hero team meet Momo in the human farm, and Momo guides them to the castle Momo gets captures, vampirized. Abel et al. beat Bifrons, but the Heroes of Fire, Wood, and Iron die Momo is "freed" because Bifrons is no longer around to command her Cain invades Labyrinthos, the Hero of Ground, Johnnie's subordinates, and the ancient dragons aside from Mel die

The divergence point must have been before the team was even assembled, because in the new timeline the Hero of Iron already gave up on the fight and shouldn't have fought Bifrons at all, and maybe that was the difference that led to them being captured.

Also, after the fight against the resurrected Bifrons, the Grandsage mentions that she couldn't have fought against him since he sired her. I think the original timeline was intact to that point: Makoto hadn't met Momo in the past, hadn't severed the thread of fate, and so Grandsage Prime couldn't oppose resurrected Bifrons.

I feel so bad for Eris. She does what she can for her people, sacrificing herself to Greyfrier to make it happen, and yet they still betray her and gravely injure Tiffanyer in the process.

Hopefully Eris can help Tiffanyer recover her memories and they can be together again as friends and cousins.

It’s something that’s been bugging me about this series for a while — although I like the world-building and premise, I get frustrated every time there is a dialog scene.

I thought it was a Soma thing but with the latest conversation involving the headmaster and Soma’s parents it looks like the wishy-washy dialog infects all the characters.

It’s not just the inane in-jokes and the know-it-all attitudes displayed by the speakers, it’s also the fact that it takes lengthy conversations which reveal so little regarding the topic being discussed to give us a small tidbit about anything of importance which gets to me.

Hearing each character say “uh-huh” over and over again is just tiring.

The Tokyo Dome is 62 meters tall. But, Zagan is described as

he was probably over a hundred meters tall, which made dragons and giants look like kittens

Zagan is described as a lion, so presumably a quadruped, longer than he is tall. Thus, he must be significantly bigger than the entirety of the barrier.
He would have had to attack from the outside. The barrier absorbs mana attacks, but Zagan seemed to mainly use melee attacks with his body. So, I guess him attacking Sakurai would've taken the form of swiping blindly into the barrier hoping to hit him. Like a very big kitten playing with a very big ball.

The ending almost made me cry.

It seems a bit of a too important detail for a bonus short story...
That Noah and Althena were both just old enough to be there at the end of Titanomachia, but the other goddesses were all born after it.

I was disappointed.

While the first volume was fairly light and often cutesy, it always came back to the central plot and the drama inherent to the dragonkin society. Part two seems almost aggressively uninterested in whatever plot hooks, drama, or mystery it presents to us, or has presented before.

Story: Your husband faces a strong opposition from the nobles, and also somebody tried to kill you.
Protagonist: I know what to do! I'll develop a hot springs resort!

Story: Your host has probably tried to get rid of you by telling you the weather's good when they knew a blizzard's coming.
Protagonist: Huh. Anyway, should the main dish sold at the resort be a mushroom sandwich, or a mushroom sandwich with cheese?

Protagonist: My husband is from a long-lived people, he'll most likely survive me, isn't that sad?
Story: Nope, by marrying him your life expectancy was automatically extended to match his.

Volume 1: Changing into dragons, and especially changing back, is a big deal! It's pretty tiring and dangerous and there are tons of social customs around it.
Volume 2: Nah, everybody changes there and back all the time and there won't be even a mention of any potential downside to it.

And so on, and so on.

The first volume was of the flawed, but charming and entertaining variety. This one is, like, if you're not interested in your own plot, why should I be?

I remember hearing years ago that the author was planning for another volume after You like me, not my daughter? was concluded, but the latter ended in 2022 and we still got nothing. I don't know if author changed his mind or it was a baseless rumor to begin with.

A new harem member for volume 3, who knows his secret and has powers of her own. That could be fun.

"I don't think there is anything you can do that will surprise me anymore, anyways why are you here?"
"To save you of course!"
"HUH?!?"

Which makes sense. She isn't confident at first that Touya and Nao are taking how dire their situation is seriously enough, that they are thinking since they are isekai'd they might have plot armor or that they can treat it like a game.

We find out fairly soon how bad things get for other students who were less ruthless and cautious. I'd say the world proves her right.
