Radine is certainly a much better character than Lupis, having her around could be nice. I'm curious to see how Ryoma will react to the political marriage plan...I'm expecting him to refuse, but should he decide it's more convenient to accept, that could start a chain reaction among all his female retainers for a spot as concubine (I don't remember if there is polygamy in the setting), starting with the twins.
After like 20 volumes I'm tired of Lupis, and I'm not enthusiast that we still have to deal with her. I'm not sure what more she could bring to the story, especially since as others already mentioned, this arc was intended to be the prolonged to the real war between Ryoma and Shardina.
As usual, this volume felt as it could be condensed in a couple of chapters without any real loss in terms of content. From this point of view, Wortenia never disappoints (?).
