@acamp about one month later, and JNC now has some Drecom manga, so who knows.

@Gatorgoat0339 Luckily, volume 9 released in April, so once this series resumes, we have a good chance of getting both 8 and 9 licensed together and releasing back to back.

I agree with the author, a story without drama like this one is nice and I hope it's not going to change.

Honestly, I really liked this volume. Did the plot advance significantly? No. Did I enjoy it despite that? Yes. I really enjoy slice of life/shenanigan-based series with female leads, especially because of the amount of yuri flirting present in this volume.

I do agree that the plot shouldn't come to a standstill for multiple volumes. On the flip side, if the plot advances too fast (think of Mushoku Tensei turning points or Conqueror of the Dying Kingdom) that's an absolute drop from me.

In the end, the thing that was most annoying about this volume was the bickering with Victorica. We could have removed that from the volume to improve it 5 fold.
