@Cryten they might just be focusing on catching up the manga and seeing how its sales are doing. Afterall, Roll Over and Die had a really long hiatus and yet is currently streaming an anime and has published 2 more volumes (second to be released in June). So fingers crossed.

Nice volume. We got the wedding, although romance is not the strong point of the series, Ernie doing Ernie things, the Astragalu interacting with the humans. It's now Kid's turn to befriend a new humanoid species, and maybe building an harem of princesses...someone isn't going to be happy when he comes back.
The drawback? No Ikaruga in action.

This past Monday was the earliest we could have expected the next volume to come out, it could be an additional few weeks or so depending on the general chaos of the licensing process, just keep checking the schedule in the meanwhile every week.

Looking at amazon JP, the 8th volume came out last December. We won't know when the next EN volume comes until JNC has all their ducks in a row and are ready to publish the first part.

This volume was what I needed to rekindle my interest in the series. We finally got to see what Erich is capable of instead of having him playing the newbie. I don't expect that now he'll throw fusion bombs at every fights but weshihkd get closer to him saving the world rather than dealing with bandits.
Regarding romance, the harem is co firmed, now the question is how many girls will be in it. Mika and Dietrich are the obvious next candidates due to them eing immediately available, although the former has to wait until she fully becomes a girl.
I'm going to pretend I never read about Erich putting makeup before a battle, though.
