I’ve watched the anime and i’m currently reading the manga but i’m thinking about reading the LN once i’m done and if i enjoy it i’m gonna genuinely need a Physical release of the English LNs cause oh my god is it just expensive to find a copy of the manga whatsoever but for now i’ll come back here once i’ve started reading the light novels.

3rd time reading (my brain just won't lemme move on from this series!) and I haaaate how Amimin is such an afterthought to this story. Never see her in any boss fights, but she's clearly a front liner. Argh.. Just had to get that off my chest.

I suppose that Cercis and Calendula was never going to work out. She liked him for his confidence and the fact that he would pursue her despite all objections. But he liked her as an escape from his duties. What it comes down to it, those reasons are fundamentally incompatible; running away from his duties runs counter to the confidence she wanted.

She probably knew it would come down to this for a long time, because if he were really the man she wanted him to be, he wouldn't have let objections stop them from marrying. But I think she wanted to hope that it'd still work out somehow, and stayed longer against her best judgement.

I've got the impression the uncle could turn out to be a bit too much of a siscon and yandere and that might cause trouble later.

My theory on why Rani and the others didn't end up with Inglis and Tiffanier: Rani has gotten really good at controlling her own aether (we've seen that she's learning how to use it exponentially faster than Inglis did by watching her use it), and probably did something similar on her own without realizing it, and everyone else wound up with her. The Steelblood Front guy could have as well.

So the pontifex was likely offed by whoever has been providing the revelations, I suspect. It looked like her choker was set to detonate if she tried to reveal their identity.

I liked this volume, mostly because it was actually about Sansui. Had this series always been like this I would've liked it more, even if it turned out to be shorter.

6 year olds acting like (and being treated like) very mature 13 year olds is very common in LN/manga/anime. I wonder if TV tropes has a trope for this.

I waited until the Light Novel publication to read this volume. The story was surprisingly idealistic in the way pretty much all people behave sensibly and unselfishly. In particular Ryan, Layala and Carolus shown to be the ideals of chivilric kings without any of the practicality of needing levels of compromised exploitation to lead and rule a populace.

That on top of all the People of the Forest coming around the save the day rather then their earlier depictions as cautious secretive people who appear randomly and disappear just as quickly without risking their knowledge to outsiders (as previously described in the first two volumes). Of course I am willing to see that they bent their ethics somewhat to appeal to Misha.

Another thing that strikes me is a total lack of consideration for the taking away of Misha and locking her away from her duties as the scion of a noble house and hostage. Even if Ryan was not interested in the scenario her father would desire the care and looking after of his daughter.

Finally I was saddened to see the undercurrent of Lolita leanings with people being fascinated by Misha to develop to a full on underhanded symbolic confession of love between a 20 something and a 13 or 14 year old girl.

Otherwise it was a nice read, a bit less fairy-tale then the previous two novels, and the only danger being a half paragraph of slightly angry people gave it a very safe feel despite the theme of a plague outbreak. I think I liked Nel the most as he had the most sense of having his own agendas around his actions.

Perhaps the most fairy-tale thing about the volume is how so many people she encountered last two volumes all turned up to help at exactly the right timings.

There was a mentioned that Raymond changed de to the influence of his fiancée, I wonder if she's going to be the real final boss, and the demon lord will become an ally of Lofus in this timeline. We already saw that Warm is now indebted with him instead, and the heroines are steadily joining his harem.
I also think the alraune lady is going to become his familiar in the future. The big question is what it will be of the game protagonist.
Also, reading that the author started with FFX-2 made me feel old since my first one was FFVII.

The ending was rather abrupt...Anyway, a fun volume, although I missed Zelos' love interests.

Wow. Soooooo much hot spring fanservice in that color illustration in the ebook. And a high-resolution version, too!

Nice ending. I think they should have let Ford know they were married and carved out some time for themselves.
