Liked it. It seems to have the right combination of the protagonist being ruthless with people who wronged him but, kind with people on his side and willi g to help those in needs. He's not a paragon of virtue but doesn't seem shitty as the one from Overpowered and oversummoned.
I wonder if the mage and priest will end up in the harem. The elf did, but since the beginning she was portrayed differently frkm the other two so might be a special case.

The sister accidentally overthrows the kingdom while looking for her brother who's not even in the country. Her side stories are always hilarious.

@heimdal7 I am assuming there will be a major ceremony involved once she turns 18. Personally I think it would make for a nice Vol 10 landmark (?), though I realistically I think we won't see it until vol 11 or 12. Forget the kingdom's laws, Dias himself was against the marriage before she was 18.

Looks like the author realized that competent male characters isn't what this series is about and so Arthur has to be killed. Let's see in the next volume if he learnt something from the apostles and managed to run away.
We got some world building and started to unravel some mysteries, but the fact that in order to have a villain be killed we have to wait until they double cross each other is becoming ridiculous.

I found a typo in chapter 1. The paragraph reads.

It sounds like they'd gone and fussed over him f0r no good reason. With a sigh, Zenos sat down at the table and straightened up slightly. "All right, then," he said. "Let's hear it."

The typo is in f0r as it has a zero where the letter o is meant to be.

I'm glad Shirley wasn't excluded from the trip, she was just traveling via Kazuhiro taxi. Meanwhile, despite being able to drink, Eve proves to be the child of the group.

In the ebook, the first illustration "Dramatic Personae" seems to be split over two pages, which makes it unreadable in an ebook format. Would it be possible to make it in Landscape mode and fit it in one page?

Shinichi is a serial sexual harasser (will happily buy photos taken without consent) and Hikaru intentionally got a bunch of people dangerously addicted to porn for his own financial gain. I thought the 3rd story was a bit of a comeuppance, personally. Shinichi got a taste of his own SH medicine, and Hikaru found himself on the wrong end of a porn addict. I'm a girl, and I have had to slog through Shinichi's constant perverted drivel to get to the part of the series I actually like. The 3rd story just switched the genders around.

It really sucks they have done this to the story to make it longer. The web novel was actually one my favorites that I had read multiple times.

I'm a bit late in responding here, but if you excise the "family trying to set them up" bit, you've described both the Twilight and Fifty Shades series, both of which were written by authors who (at time of writing this sentence) identify as female. I'll also note that even if you adjust your hypothetical story to "comes across an attractive older girl/woman", the Twilight/Fifty Shades statement would still hold true.

So I think it's a bit much to say that this story is "a female MC written from the gendered expectations of a male MC/guy trying his best to write a female-centric romance novel".

So Cion is masochist . The hero is "dead" and that after story is a little awkward when you are using a text to speech reader with a british female voice to read....

My one question is why does the picture look like they just got out of a fight the day before even when they have healing magic and a month has passed?

So is J-novel licensing the manga also?
