I think it is a translation error on J-Novel's part. The terms God of Chaos (混沌神) and God of Destruction (破壊神) are both used in volume 1 of Knock Yourself Out!

Most of the time, in Knock Yourself Out!, J-Novel seemed to translate 混沌神 as God of Destruction instead of God of Chaos. But there is one line in Chapter 1 they translated that says "Sorry. To be honest, I didn’t think you were too different from an actual god of destruction." If you look at the Japanese Raw it says "すみません、破壊神か何かだと思ってました。" (Sorry. To be honest, I thought you were a God of Destruction or something.) It uses 破壊神 for God of Destruction. But everywhere else is 混沌神 is used.

If you look at Lazy Dungeon Master, the God of Chaos in spelled 混沌神 and through out the series this refers to Leona. In volume 17, when they refer to Niku as the God of Destruction they use 破壊神. This also lines up with the web novel as the author continued to publish parts for it and

So when he comes into the world, it seems like the people that's had any interaction with pre-possessed Zil comes down to 3 people. And from them it seems each had a total of 5 minutes with the man. "Hey, I recruit you, here's a power, bye" Cause they are all surprised when he calls them to him and again when asked to see their abilities. So one of the "main issues" he has of needing to act like Zil seems to be a lot less of an issue than he makes it out to be. Like I feel they've had so little that they haven't had time to make strong impressions of him and his personality.

Second, I really tire of all the stripping and his letting the fanatic run wild. Like he thinks you're God, if you say, "hey, I actually don't want stripping" he'll come up with all the explanations for you and follow your rules. Letting him run wild seems like such an odd choice and the excuse that he needs to do so else he fears it'll destroy their faith and he'll turn and kill him for betraying his faith or something is also laughably ridiculous. And maybe I wouldn't mind so much if it didn't seem to take up a forth of the story. SOOOooo much seems to be about Kieran and Zil being annoyed by his actions or him spreading his religion. Like the funny one off has made itself a permanent and prominent feature and overstayed it's welcome.

The wedding were nice and so the fact that Shutola and Rion were able to have their first time.
The tag team battle was cool, although I hope the author isn't going to abuse the win by ring out, I'm especially worried for the battles against the guest characters since the author probably doesn't want to make them look bad.
The second battle was definitely less interesting, Rion was basically fighting a dummy and Dorothy herself is one of my least favorite characters.

That's such a perfect way to end the volume. Yep, three dragons. Not a problem worth mentioning, come and join the celebration of all these fancy new dragon materials that walked into our laps. How'd things go on your end?

@karasutengu - I drifted away after volume 6 I think, but it's nice to hear that the author is letting relationships progress instead of just power levels and fame.

@Almond-Magnum possibly, but it's a silly story about giant cats batting cannonballs out of the sky so perhaps the author didn't think of it.

You should email support@j-novel.club for errors found in published books, they aren't going to find it if you post it here. For what it's worth, something similar to what you described happened during prepublication but they fixed it, so I'd be surprised if that fix wasn't carried over to the full version.

The lack of detailed fight scenes did not bother me much.

I like that the story has progressed into more world building.

I dislike that the power levels used to tell the story.

I've read through v10. Have not cracked v11 yet.

Well, Reina is right there helping the dark elves, so there is one less thing to worry about. That statue... Sheesh. Alucard is number 5. Gai and Chris are the top two, probably constantly swapping their positions. So who on earth are 3 and 4?

The curiosity is killing me.

And is it just me, or has our lovely songstress Amelia gone missing in this volume?

I kinda wish to see the original battle against the true demon king. Anyway, I love these old guys.

v12 came out in Japan in October of last year, and v13 came out in January. As per the future volume release topic, licensing can vary wildly in how long it takes once we've caught up to the Japanese release, but a community rule of thumb we commonly employ is to expect a recently released volume to begin prepublication around six months after its release in Japan at the earliest. So for Hell Mode v12, that might be around April/May, we won't really know for sure until it appears on the calendar. J-Novel doesn't drop series outside of extraordinary circumstances though, so you can only trust that they're working their hardest to get the next volume shepherded through the wilderness of the licensing process without sacrificing on quality.

Idgaf, lowkey been enjoying this novel from the start (came from the manga). And man, as much i liked hoshimiya's character development, nothing beats miori's significance as a character. She was there since day one, helped Natsuki with all of his problems, and their dynamic has always been the best from the beginning. Kinda bummed that she gets sidelined in the regressed universe. But i'm ecstatic to see that in the original timeline, he still gets a happy ending, with best girl... Although in the original timeline, its unfortunate that the major problems that the characters had to deal with alone couldn't fix it, without Natsuki's help (eg. Reita's gang involvement.). But I'd say it's very realistic, and there's a bit of authorial charm to it.

I enjoyed this volume quite a bit. Tia was a welcome addition to the mix
