@Shiny Yeah, pretty much my thought as well. I enjoyed it and would have enjoyed more but at the same time, it was a compact and efficient story so I don't feel like we missed out either even with it ending so soon.

I liked the first volume a lot and think I liked this one a lot too. I think a few pages could have been trimmed from the final fight scene, but that’s just my preference for character over action showing (well, usually my preference unless the action is as well written as FMP). Still an absolute hoot and I’m excited to have these coming for ages without much break.

took me a while to finish this volume but did enjoy it. Especially the creative use of spells and not just having hulking golemns. As for romance I want to see Kiara with Reggie he is sweet but in this volume he lost his edge to Cain

Ah, OK, so they're one of the translators who's a one-series-at-a-time translator. Which, honestly, is a perfectly reasonable stance, given how intense translating can be (source: I spent the better part of a semester translating 1850s German printed in small-print Fraktur into English, which was a thing).

Translating two series at once would be absolutely nuts, and I'm impressed anyone could even consider doing it. Doubly so if the two series have very different writing styles (*coughQuofcough*)

@myskaros Yes, please retain the original names. I actually google images throughout the story to see what they look like for both places and antiques. I also think that most readers of Japanese novels are already accustomed to Japanese names or they will appreciate learning about Japanese names and culture. Personally I was hoping the honorifics were kept because it informs me on the level of familiarity between the characters and when and if that familiarity changes. However, I am also fine with the absence of the honorifics since you guys are probably making it easier for the English speaking readers who aren’t familiar with honorifics.

I'm with Inaba... I think what pisses me off the most is that Heartseed's plan actually worked. It's rather remarkable that them regaining their memories was enough to alter realty though. Hard to say if that's because of <their> power or if it's because contact with them just results in this kind of thing happening. It's a bit chicken and egg really... If Heartseed's power rewrote reality, but he didn't have his own memories back yet until reality was rewritten...

I know Sam has used Aoi Oni as his example for proving that he'll always try to finish a series if possible, but honestly, finishing this one seems more impressive to me. It's more volumes to license and pay folks on after all, despite it being evident for some time this isn't likely to be a popular title after all. Though that is making the assumption that discussion on the forums equals sales in some ways. I wouldn't expect to see his other series licensed though.

I've also sent this in mail (since I know that's where stuff regarding released content is better sent to) but I'll mention it here in case the staff encounter this in the next volume (that I've yet to start)

Volume 6 part 8 ~50%: Lorraine mentions a monster called "gadol ze'ev" which is in Hebrew (lit. Big Wolf) however in Hebrew it should be the other way around "Ze'ev Gadol" (lit. Wolf Big)

Volume 6 part 10 ~65%: the same issue is repeated with "gadol akavish" (lit. Big Spider) that should be "akavish gadol".

Ofc this could be just what the source is like, so I just wanted it brought to the attention of the staff so they can make a (possibly more) educated decision regarding the naming, should such a case repeat again

'Shahor Melechnamer' (lit. Black kingtiger) though it would make more sense to swap these around too, the entire thing doesn't make much sense in the language (as 'kingtiger' isn't actually a word obviously) though. All that considered either 'Melechnamer Shahor' or 'Namermelech Shahor' could work (both aren't natural to the language however they're better than the first)

Finally caught up with this volume, the story was intresting liked the intrigue thou I wish the book was shorter.

I have some doubts about the Prince x Juliane 💑. But said could be said to Marielle x Simeon. Hope to see how it works out in the next volume
