this dunce, trying to hide things from Ai Fa. All he needed to do was say the important part. "What'd Vina want?" -> "She wanted me to help her leave the forest's edge." Boom, done. But alas, he really is an idiot. He goes and does something even dumber right after. the cliche of "if you accidentally see a naked woman bathing, just keep staring until you get hit". Sigh. Very not a fan of this kind of comedy. Oh well.
Also... it almost seems like Ai Fa doesn't realize that she'd still be the hunter even if she married Asuta.

So, aside from the above and it's subsequent fallout, this volume was fairly interesting as well, though less so. There were fewer points of cultural differences to cover here, and it mostly moved on to clan drama, which, while still interesting, is less so. I do have a point of concern, though, and that's the pacing. The entire volume only covered one meal. Didn't introduce much in the way of new things either. It felt like it could have been half a volume.
