I had a lot of fun with this volume. The whole series is tonally all over the place but somehow at this stage it really works. One minute it’s slice of life, then gory action then goofy hijinks all with a side order of cynical OP. I wouldn’t want every Light Novel to be like this but I’m really happy this one is.

Just read this and liked it way more than expected. It’s more grounded and that last battle scene with multiple perspectives was great. Looking forward to volume 2 being published.

Way behind but finally finished this and of course it was just as wonderful as I’d hoped it would be. Epic dragon battle to end all epic dragon battles and Will remains grounded and real through it all. I am really impressed by how the underlying thematic integrity of the series remains. Thank you guys so much for your effort in translating and releasing this. It’s easily one of my favorite fantasy series.

@korppi the reason Rokujouma isn’t listed in the schedule is cause they are released monthly, so whether part 1 becomes available the whole book is available for prepub at least, since it lists the whole book at time of prepub upload it won’t appear again when the ebook comes out.

No, muzzle brake does not eliminate recoil on a 44 magnum and those things are still nasty to shoot and feel like someone kicks you in the hand. The girl uses something comparable to this thingie.

@paul-nebeling is like DTTA says, but Sea Serpent are like dragonnewts since they are human like with dragon features. Dragon in the other hand are shapeshifters so then can be in dragon form or human form (well they still have horns). Apparently all dragon are female at is the reason that they make pact with a knight so the knight will fight with his dragon as a dragon knight, while the dragon became his wife and he must treat her like that. In that way the dragon will be able to have children be dragon (female), dragonnewt or human.

I think that Souta child with Naden will be a male dragon so he can became a dragon king or something like that (well that is just a theory).

Thank you again for finishing this series. A really, really weird series, but interesting. If there is a sequel, I think it should be called My Big Sister Lives In A Fantasy World As The Demon Lord for the shenanigans done throughout the series.
