Oh! I actually made a list of 20 picks for my friends several months back. It's not a definitive list as it's been tailored in both size and what I thought would interest my friends, but it's all stuff I read/enjoy.
Highlighted picks
Ascendance of a Bookworm (or its manga) - It's good. I already did a powerpoint on it, what more do you want? (No, the powerpoint has not convinced any of the aforementioned friends to read it yet T~T )
Deathbound Duke's Daughter - The cover says otome game villainess reincarnation but the writing yields thoughtful characters, an interesting magic system, and multiple mysteries afoot. Probably my favorite sans Bookworm.
Min-Maxing My TRPG - DnD-lover turned author creates a really neat world filled with interesting characters, all wrapped up in a tidy bow of enjoyable prose. Also the author almost definitely has a fetish for monster girls that can kill you.
Tearmoon Empire - Princess gets her head chopped off, regresses, and is basically like "I don't want that to happen again so I guess I should do something about that huh." Filled with amazing writing, from the efforts of both original author and translator. A literary delight.
Miscellaneous Picks
The Apothecary Diaries - Chinese palace drama, apothecary protagonist deals with the mysteries and schemes of court life.
An Archdemon's Dilemma - Step 1: meet girl. Step 2: free her. Step 3: ??? Step 4: fluff!
Cooking With Wild Game - I can't deny it has some problems, but I think it gets better as it goes on.
Dahlia in Bloom - An unexpected amount of food (and alcohol) porn for a series about creating magic tools.
Endo and Kobayashi Live! - Short and sweet, tsundere otome villainess appreciation hours.
Infinite Dendrogram - Immersive VR game with shounen-like protag go brr.
I Refuse to Be Your Enemy! - What if video game isekai, but the video game was Fire Emblem?
The Magician Who Rose From Failure - For once it's actually just "remembers some things from past life" instead of reincarnation.
My Daughter Left the Nest - OP protagonist! Wait, no, OP daughter of protagonist.
Otherside Picnic - Creepypasta lesbians engage in a long game of will-they-won't-they.
Perry Rhodan NEO - Aliens [does the meme hands]
The Sorcerer's Receptionist - Gaslight, gatekeep, girlboss.
The Tales of Marielle Clarac - Hey look, it's Miles Edgeworth.
