I'm a little late to the Campfire Cooking party, but I'm currently on volume 3 and wanted to ask a question or make a suggestion?
With Dora-chan now part of Mukoda's party, it's getting a little difficult to discern his speech from Sui's. I appreciate that Fel's speech in volume 2 became bold and so it was easy to tell him apart from the others right away. Is there something that can be done to indicate who is speaking without reading further into the story and using context clues? Like using brackets or other font type? I have the same problem with the goddesses all talking over one another as well.

I don’t think there is an official translation anywhere, but even with a so-so translation, the Manga “SILVER PLAN TO REDO FROM JK” can be very Tearmoon-esque—especially the main character. The manga mostly plays it straight—but the comedy is still there—especially with the not brilliant man character doing her best to be a better person in her second chance (most of the story arcs are centered on a dramatic event, but the current arc really seems to be an over-extended tiny gag—but that gag is sooo Tearmoon that I love it.)—set in 1990s? Japan-the art is pretty good—though doesn’t fit the tone of the story that well (the story is set up to appeal to both genders—or maybe even more so to females—but the art seems to be aimed more so at teenaged boys). It would be nice if J-Novel did an official translation. (There is also a live-action TV show—but glancing at it reminds me of an old UPN teen drama. Haven’t seen a LN for it anywhere—but would love to read it, if it exists).

Well I think I've reach my limit. I just don't care what's happening in this volume and I'm skimming huge swaths of chapters. Perhaps I'll regain my interest later but I don't care about the third prince nor the three girl mercenaries.

The battle of the Victorian period and the late medieval period is also ridiculous. It's equivalent to a battle between world war 1 soldiers and napoleon. The tactics are just tricks and Regis even said that he doesn't believe in traditional tactics. So the complex battle planning that I was hopping for with a tactician MC have never materialized. I'm a hobbyist tactician and history buff so it's pretty frustrating.

Lastly the art is just bad. I think the novel would be better with out the art so I didn't have to see how dumb the characters look. Also they are all as skinny as Regis making the fact that they are fighting men and women ridiculous. The outfits are a mix of time periods and fashions that don't make sense.

I'm not entirely sure if this an apt comparison, but Jinguuji's group attacking Draconia makes me think of Heinz from Death Mage. Doing something that outwardly seems noble and they believe to be just, but as a direct result it garners the MC's enmity, and that of his followers.

Lobivia is undoubtedly one of Takahiro's group, and her family was massacred. Takahiro has indicated several times that he doesn't care if enemies are saviours. This seems like the seeds of a conflict that could well lead to Jinguuji's end.

Arman says that Claus and he are half-brothers on their mom's side. That means they have the same mother but different fathers, right? Or am I interpreting the sentence incorrectly?
However, later paragraphs talk as if the previous Beast King is the shared parent. So do Arman and Claus share a father or a mother?

Do you never re-read titles? If so, then rentals to supplement the prepub streaming makes sense.

If you do re-read titles, then using your credit to buy a book is a good deal too.

For purchases, one thing to look at is the bonus content that is not included in catch-up months since those are the prepubs. It varies, but some of the content is really good -- my favorite is the bonus stories in the Realist Hero premium edition, where they aren't what-if or silly bits, they're nice additions to the main story.

I meant using the enhanced hair dryer to dispose of slimes, and sometimes also trash.
I'm pretty sure it happened a couple times. Notably, when Carlo used it on the black slime.
